Xiegu X108G Outdoor Version Field Test

Xiegu X108G outdoors for first field test but had solar flare and bands were terrible. Using Chameleon F-Loop as well in this video.

    This is the way my first attempts went from the Hoosier Nat'l Forest till I started calling contesters in the PA QSO party, then success ! The X108g is a good rig so far. Lee, WA8QFE (BushRadio on Bushcraft USA.com)

    Fred, can you tell me how you connected a straight keyer to the X108G ? It has a stereo 3-conducter 3,5mm access for cw keyer. Did you use a 3-conducter (stereo) or 2-conductor (mono) and if stereo, what tips where soldered ? Thanks in advance. Mine seems to send always dashes ? Phil ON4VP

    Yea and 25 minutes was not calling, never tried that hard, have more fun being outside and setting up.
