I had the exact same issues. First the child lock was disabled. Then the lights cycle though the various buttons without the the water being heated. I did the following and it managed to solve the problems. You might want to try it out. 1. Turn on the child lock by pressing and holding both the 250ml button and child lock button for about 10s as described in the video. 2. set to 50deg (or maybe other temp) and allow the water to dispense free flow (middle button). The lights will cycle and the water is still unheated. Let it run for awhile. The system resets and the water stops dispensing. 3. The system is back to normal after it runs through the above step.

Thanks. Rotating round the various temp setting happens when you restart (off and on) the Viomi. See author's reply to Harry's comment where he teaches how to solve this problem. For myself i solved it when i press 250ml, it cycle thru various temps, then thank goodness, stops (like author says it would) and you can then choose temp you want.

Hi, after using a few months, recently starting to be unable to dispense water. Press run, no water out but inside still heats up, got steam comes out. Need to wait the steam for long time (scared too often might spoil the machine) or readjust the water container before water comes out again. Any solutions for me as in maybe inside is clogged and needs to clear inside?

Hey guys, If anyone face the problem with no heated water and rotating light around different temperature, please try to let water dispense out at any temp for few second till machine stopped by itself. Then it will back to normal.

Maybe is the water tanks not put rightly or the sensor got problem.

I think you should try dispense few time, maybe water will come out.

There is a bad smell from from this viomi water dispenser.. is yours one have the same issue?

Hi there I used my water dispenser for a few months then it stopped heating the water. The lights on the other temperatures would cycle. I thought it was broken and bought another same device. I used the old water tank on the new machine and the problem was still there. When I used the new tank with new machine it was ok. The problem is with the tank. Do u know how to fix the sensor in the tank?

Hi, Jameson. I never face with this kind of problem. Sorry about it. May I know is that water not any heat? The lights cycle basically is your restart the machine will be happen, but after your press output water for few second it will be okay. For the tank, you try to use new tank with old machine, see whether is machine or not. anything you can comment below to let more people know. thanks for you comment.

Thanks for telling me that it is the sensor problem. I have light rotating around but it does not dispense hot water when I clicked 100 degree Celsius. I did not have the child lock disappearing on mine. I kept adjusting the water tank, thinking it is the sensor as mentioned and luckily it work to reduce the error rotation

Is that your first time use this water dispenser? When new started or restart water dispenser will be like that. You need to press the water out and wait for few second until water is stop flowing. At the same time, you will see no blinking and rotating. The reason is the machine need to warmup. You try see work or not. Thanks

Mine same but after water warm up still same. When I select 55 degree, the number comes out but water still cannot dispense.

Is anyone encounter no hot water even through select 80 or 90 deg C? Child lock got no issue, the light didn’t rotate like what other mention.

I used for few months already. Was working well but yesterday when I choose 50 and 80 deg C,it won't heat up. 90 deg C was ok.

This is nit a good machine Its not user friendly I read more about problems than good things . I cant get it to give me hot water the same way twice. It gives hit then next time no , i do the same instructions then sometimes i get hot water. Faster to boil my jug less headaches. Throwing it out .
