Until it catches fire. I couldn't sleep at night knowing how potentially dangerous Chinese EVs are. Looks nice though, until it crumples like a paper bag in an accident. If they can cut corners in design by blatant plagiarism, god knows what other corners they have cut.

Have you seen the video of the SU7 boot crushing a chickens foot - yes really - The foot could easily be a child's fingers! - Yes it looks nice and is cheap but you get what you pay for and this car is a POS

They expect 100k deliveries for the su7 this year. An suv coming soon and a cheapo 20k car in the works. Great stuff from xiaomi. Lets hope they destroy Tesla sales in china

There are defects, that's normal, all products, especially new products that carry new technology, will have defects. This also applies to the automotive industry, including in America. In fact, in America there are special regulations related to this, known as: Lemon Law. Even well-established products, such as airplanes produced by Boeing, can have defects. What matters is whether the defect is intentional, or part of the process/development of a product? And did they hide the defect or not? Are they willing to recall or not? And most importantly, are they willing to take responsibility or not after releasing the product to the market?

Can't wait for Apple to launch their car... it will DEMOLISH the competition.

I wouldn't take a street car to a track without upgrading the brakes. Even certain performance cars require brake upgrades before heading to track if u don't wanna crash.

There was an incident on the track with a driver ignoring the warnings from the car till his breaks failed. Shouldn't happen but it did. Also there is an anti-EV/anti-China channel on YT named China Observer that posts a lot of half truths so beware of that.

Making an LED is a bit different to building a car.... Let's see how well these cars last in the real world. Electronics is different to mechanical engineering...

I agree. Bearings and brake discs need to be made of good quality steel and body work must be sufficiently rust treated. We now know that cars from MG and BYD for example are not rotting out like crazy, but are comparable to legacy brands. Which the naysayers hate.

Is this the car that is basically a reverse engineered, poor quality, Porsche car?

The only thing this car destroys is itself. It's basically a coffin on wheels.
