I really want Xiaomi to get into VR industry. These classes are most of the way there already. The display placement by the way looks a lot better than the n-real glasses. Sitting the same as normal glasses is a big plus. Need to see still is the quality comparable, or are these just HUD style, but this sure seems a big leap forward for many cases.

Best part in it is what ever we can see we can capture it ❣️

They didn’t want to lose the privacy aspect or fear people will be recording/taking videos everywhere and then Google glasses eventually died out since it was pointless getting it if nobody could use it. I wonder how they’ll allow Xiaomi to pass this time around?

it would probably consume alot of battery to take a lot of pictures or even a video and send that to the datacenter through wifi. Also if ur doing something u dont want them to see just take off the glasses

A lot of companies have attempted the smart glasses, some of them have even been what I would consider successful, I have high hopes for this product from Xiaomi, given their track record I think they have the ability to pull it off, I think the hardest thing will be allowing 3rd party apps to integrate, like google duo, Microsoft teams, uber, with the battery technology like the amazfit watches I believe they could sustain extended battery life and still maintain a high level of functionality. Looking forward to a final released product, hopefully they can accommodate different styles

Well it has a Camera, like the Google Glasses which flopped bc of it (Google glasshole)

Imagine in the near future everyone wearing the same glasses

that translate seems the most useful. especially if u can keep it open, and it refreshs, when it sees new text. that would make playing or reading foreign games and books. so much easier.
