i had the same problem n this method helped me , i checked my settings n found my extension ram switched off , i simply turned it on and things got back to normal , hope this helps ! update : it's gone back to the same thing again :)

This is the problem I am having since the beginning, when I use the phone in handsfree speaker mode, the person on the other side tells me that at first the hear me fine but all of a sudden the hear me muffled or my mic cuts out. Any fix? I tried cleaning the mic with no avail. When I have a call where I speak with the phone on my ear there is no problem, it's only in handsfree mode. I've sent reports in to Xiaiomi, contacted them many times, but they are not interested in finding a solution. Help please!

Mine won't let me open the last step, which is to open "Sound Effects". What to do next? Also, I have been having problems with this phone after I updated it to version 14.0.2. Guys. I just updated Systems Apps Updater from settings and updated Music app and Gallery Player Service. Restarted mobile after this and my audio issues solved after this.

Interesting enough, it doesnt let me access sound effects, what should i do? Does this mean that i dont have Dolby anymore?

@@DNairies you need to take it to a service they will know what to do, im just saying that i need to install a new OS, since this (in my opinion) is the last solution, i tried everything, but nothing worked, and if im correct, a new OS will solve the audio problem. A service needs to take some diagnostics of the phone before doing it, they have some softwares on a pc and they can access the phones OS folders. From there you can have a new phone.(this is my guess that i need to reinstall my OS, but perhaps the service can directly install a new DOLBY file, since the original one is(somehow) corrupted)

today onwards my mobile bottom speaker didn't work always play a ringing sound even after cut a call rebooting mob to solve this problem but after atten a phone call this same problem came..please tell me how to fix it 😭

I can conclude this issue most likely because after the latest update, the Dolby effect has some issue because it's the one that cannot be disabled, as we cannot access to the Sound and Effects. I think if we can find some way to disable it, it will resolve the issue

Did you fix it???? I am facing the same issue, well I hard reset as many times till I get access to sound effects, and turn off the Dolby Atmos, audio will work same as before, but remember once you reboot your phone it goes back to the same issue. Make sure before hard reset to have the sound effects on background, back to back hard reset until you are able to get into sound effects. It's a bug issue

Might be a faulty speaker but you better diagnose the phone, if the sound dissapears when plugged with headphones, then its a hardware issue and you need to repair the speakers at a service. If the sound doesn't dissapear with the headphones on, then its a software issue and you have to(yet again) send it to a service to either reinstall your OS or your DOLBY file. But i still don't understand how can a new phone have a faulty speaker/audiofile problem...
