You sir just saved me from buying new phone. One thing worth to mention is to be extremely cautious when removing back cover, because it can crack easily. I always carry mine in silicon case, so no problem for me. Have good day :)

Thanks, this looks easy enough. My 3 year old phone shows battery degradation, maybe its time to change it. Also, would it be fine if I don't glue the back and just use a phone cover? Looks like it will hold, I'm using the one that came with the box.

BP40 and BP41 is not the same battery. Buy the same model as the one in your phone!

I change battery,used original for this model but new don't want to recharge. Why? When I put old back everything works well.

It's hard to find a genuine one. I'd recommend a Nohon battery instead.

@@DIYGeardo i replaced the battery, i can see 3 flat cables (one of them is the new battery) , i tried to unplug them and clean them with Alcohol and now it kinda works but it still doesn't get touch input sometimes
