I've found a problem that might be happening with most cases: If you stream any app with your phone through your Miibox, and then reduce the sound via your phone, the Miibox will reduce its sound and there's no way to raise it back up again without using your phone. So before factory reset, I would suggest connecting your phone by streaming a KZread video to your mibox, and then raising up the volume in your phone. It fixed my problem perfectly, and it would probably work doing a factory reset, just because it would reset this problem.

I dont use sound bar, just Sony internal TV repro and turned off surround (there is no PCM) and no sound is coming out. Worked fine for months. Thanks

Not sure what the issue is. You can try unplugging and plugging back in the TV and all relevant devices that are plugged into the TV. Then, factory reset the TV. If still no sound, contact Sony customer support.

My workaround in the end was to clear all apps' cache (IPTV, youtube). Playing with Stick settings as well as old TV Sony from 2012 did not help. Cheers

My tv doesn’t have digital audio format only speakers. Plug-in and out also doesn’t work. Everything is updated and speakers also work on a different tv. What should I do?

Hi, I own Mi Tv Stick and I have no 5.1 sound in Netflix. When I choose "Auto" there is no even info about 5.1 sound in Netflix, and when I choose Manual - Netflix shows 5.1 but there is no sound. Do you have solution for that?

Go to the sound settings on both your TV and your Mi TV Box, and set the audio output to "PCM" or "Stereo". Also, make sure "Dolby Digital" or "Dolby Surround" is turned off.

In my tv there is no option like this how can I fix

You need to first go into your Xiaomi's settings using the Xiaomi remote, and then to your TV settings through your TV remote. Changing the Xiaomi settings might be what fixes your problem. If you're still having trouble, try contacting Xiaomi customer service.

It sounds like you did not set the audio format to PCM. You need to check Mi Box menu and set that up, because Bluetooth cannot handle higher level audio format.

Tried factory reset. No avail.

It's different between every TV. Look for a setting like "PCM" or "Stereo", or try turning "Dolby Digital" or "Surround Sound" off. If you still have questions, feel free to contact Xiaomi customer support.
