    tbh that question doesnt really make sense because oled has perfect black levels so you cant really compare it. maybe to an average 4k tv but not oled.

    This is the next big thing. Short throw laser projector. I own a 65inch LG OLED TV and I love watching movies with family. 65inch OLED tv is an impressive tv picture quality wise, but it’s not immersive enough, I want something bigger and I think this is the answer, short throw laser projector. But will not buy one yet will wait till the Technology improves specially the contrast ratio. I want a short throw laser project with almost OLED tv picture quality. I know Sony have one already but cost more than my car. So no.

    Only just come across your video it was a automatically recommended to me. Great video and very thorough. I didn't realize how big an image these projectors could throw at such a short distance. It would certainly make setting up a breeze. You wouldn't need to very far away for such a huge image. My current setup for example gives me a 120 inch image but from a distance of around 4 metres. Very impressed with your video keep up the good work.

    Thanks for your review! It's the clearest review I have seen on this product for now. This projector is really amazing and I just can't understand the comments on the "expensive" price. Guys, it's ok that is not cheaper as an apple pie, but we are talking about an ultra short throw projector! It's a really good price for a simple and amazing product! One last thing, the menu can be turned in English with a simple app!

    I agree with you on the review, Good job! I've watch this video about 3 times, a lot to learn.. currently I'm saving for a Dell s718ql... about $6000...(got a ways to go) but I'll get there...anyways this unit has become a strong contender! for 1/3 the price....BUT!! the s718 is full 4k...and there's a lot of 4k becoming available...there's a bunch of ust projectors about to hit the market!! SMART money will give it a year then do research...I feel the price's will hold steady for 2yrs. then start to get reasonable... I'm a buyer if this projector hits $1500, which it will eventually.

    Robert Antioquia On Gearbest, with special coupon available now, you can buy it for 1.549 €. It's seems very reasonable to me. Bit You're right, the 4k is coming for third devices. But it's really more expensive and less compact

    Liangshi Xu I don't think there are any projectors on the market that offer sub-50ms response times, and most large TVs (outside of OLED) will have response times in the 20ms+ range... Better off with a decent monitor I'm afraid.

    I see you're next to a door and windows. How does it look when the sun is up? This is important because most family rooms have windows so seeing a screen during daylight hours is the ultimate test of a projector's brightness.

    Well It looks the same pretty much :D Here in Sweden we don't have to much sun to be honest. For instance now is winter and practically there is no sun and outside looks like we are in dark age. I live in small town in south Sweden and even in summer time there is not to much bright sun. Maybe someone in comment can answer to that question because sun in america is MUCH brighter than here. Maybe that's why 90% of Swedish people have vitamin D deficiency :D

    People used to make fun and talk shit about things that are made in China, look at what China can do. They now make the best electronic products in the world!!!

  • @_Common_Logic_

    @_Common_Logic_

    6 жыл бұрын

    Justin Liu - China can only do this because someone else has done it FIRST. The excessive cost of research and product development is done by the larger tech companies. After a product is released, the Chinese swoop in with their lack of respect for copyright laws and reproduce the product to the exact specs as the host unit. ... IF you are lucky... Most of the time the Chinese find ways to use inferior parts or electronic components that may not have passed inspection by another major brand... The parts may "work", but the quality was not up to the desired original spec. Most people buying Chinese versions of a product know this, and it's up to the consumer to judge if the savings is worth it in his/her individual situation. In RARE cases (smaller scale)... A Chinese company is sourced out to produce a product for a MAJOR brand. Some of the EXACT same units (possibly seconds) mysteriously get rebranded with a Chinese name and sold for a deep discount. This happened with guitars made for FENDER in a Chinese factory. The way I see it is that if FENDER wants to take the risk to farm their business to China, they deserve to take a hit by the thieves that they deal with. Look at EVERY Chinese product sold at Harbor Freight Tools... Exact pre-existing duplicates can be found by major U.S. tool manufacturers. H.F.T. even NAMES those those tools and manufacturers in some of their ads. DOZENS of lawsuits are pending. It's just the Chinese business model... Dissect a product to eliminate pre-production cost... COPY that product and ship it FREE (via Chinese government subsidizing) to the USA. Trust me... The JAPANESE still have the lock on QUALITY electronics and the Chinese are the "Kings of Clones".

    Svennovich Gaduniann - "Dude"... Although your English SEEMS fine and you seem like a complete Douche, I've noticed that your screen name sounds foreign (To English speaking countries) so I'll simplify this for you... The O.P. commented on Chinese technology and it's advancements in electronics... I responded by telling him HOW these products are developed, produced, and exported. What I stated was a FACT. "It’s a longstanding issue. A2011 report by the U.S. International Trade Commission estimated that U.S. IP-intensive firms lost $48 billion in 2009 because of Chinese infringements. A 2016 U.S. Trade Representative’s report highlighted serious problems especially concerning the theft of trade secrets. “Offenders in many cases continue to operate with impunity,” **Source** www.washingtonpost.com/business/whats-intellectual-property-and-does-china-steal-it-quicktake/2018/03/22/83b980b8-2dd1-11e8-8dc9-3b51e028b845_story.html?noredirect=on&.090be13d6b6d Now that you can see what I'm talking about is not pulled out of my ass, I'll point out to you, that NOWHERE did I say that other countries don't do it, but if YOU were not so "Daft" You would have noticed that. You'd also realize that WE (the U.S.) have PATENT LAWS that prevent U.S. companies from duplicating patented products from other U.S. designs. You'd also know that, even though I NEVER said this in my reply; China is the LARGEST exporter of these products that "borrow" research and development in the WORLD, although it's irrelevant to my original reply. You'd also know that this is a "Business plan" implemented by the Chinese Government to boost their economy by the Chinese Government. The Government SUBSIDISES shipping to the U.S. so the manufacturer does not need to pay it!!! I recently received a $2.45 order from China. A 5-ounce package...Shipping was $1.38 USD (MOST OF THE TIME IT IS free)... The item was broke. To ship it back via U.P.S. is $34.87! It seems our Government does not pay us for shipping. Again, irrelevant... But TRY to comprehend basic English before making an ASS out of yourself... You seem to think that I assume China is the ONLY country that infringes on intellectual property patents I NEVER SAID THAT... And... You failed to see that it was not the topic at all. The topic was HOW they have improved technology and again, I NEVER claimed that they were alone in doing that. Figure it out Buckwheat!

Include a TDT. tuner-home antenna ### To watch television in real time, without the need for INTERNET.

    Cable?... Is that where you pay $50-$100 per month for commercial interruption infused TV that may or may not be sent to you in High Definition when Television stations broadcast their High definition programming to your home for FREE? Yeah... I think I remember that. :-) RENzo... - Actually, with the included Android system, the KODI app, and a VPN (about 5 bucks per month) you can view all of your local TV commercials as well as the thousands of commercial filled broadcast stations from around the world. It's the same with radio broadcast and your personal music collection... All organized perfectly by your preference. That's only a fraction of what's available with this and other apps you can download to the projector. It's a new world out there and cable/dish had better adjust for it or risk being cast aside like the telephone land-line. The only problem for old guys like me is to let go of the old and actually LEARN the new... I'm still doing that here, but my home theater is 1000X more versatile now than it was just a year or two ago. GhostGhille - Just wondering... Why would you be charged monthly/annually, simply because of an included antenna?
