Nope! Now Android skins can be a bit buggy sometimes, but if you go £120 higher and get a Pixel 4a, you'll get a very smooth experience, and a longer battery life.

@@turokxbox I think I read on the net at the start of the year that my phone wasn't gonna be updated and seeing as I was on miui 10 I certainly wasn't expecting to then be upgraded to 12. The app drawer is the thing I'm most pleased about haha

still rocking my poco F1 for two years, everything is working as day one, and with gcam, the camera is awesome love xiaomi

@@oror3751 mi 10 lite has an amoled screen but thats the only benefit, mi 10T lite has better processor, 120hz, bigger battery, micro sd support and better fast charging. Overall i think the mi10T lite is better. Especially at a cheaper price point

@@Ruddy_Games mi 10 lite has better chipset 765g much stronger, the 750 is more comparable to the 720g just with 5g support,the battery life is actually pretty amazing this is one of the most effecient chipset ,much more comparable to 865 with 5000 mah

@@oror3751 the 750 is better than the 765. It has better single and multi core scores in all benchmarks. It also uses newer kyro 570 cores. The 765 might draw less power though as its only 7nm and has a slightly better gpu. They are very similar but 750 wins in raw power and its way better than the 720g

Got this phone since 3 days. Best phone i have ever had, better then samsung or iphone. It’s very fast, the screen is big so watching video’s is great. The camera’s are awesome, there are also many photoshop kinda things you can do to your pictures, even change the backgrounds of a selfie for example. You can clone yourself in pics and movies. Take video’s front and back at the same time.. Charges very fast. The fingerprint scanner is super fast. I just love this phone!

Xiaomi has my money, getting mine next week!!

It's THAT time of year and I bought myself an early present. I updated (?) from the Redmi note 8 Pro to the 10t lite. 128Gb version on the launch deal so nice price. Your review is very fair, it catches the ups & the downs of the phone pretty well. For me the highlights are the screen, the battery, the fast charge, and that processor. @@ballsofplastic Poco X3 is a very solid buy. I doubt you would be disappointed if you bought it. Specs are good, battery is excellent. Not having had use of one I'd suggest checking any long term reviews to find out if anyone is flagging up problems. I was checking until recently and didn't come across any.

@Stanley Knife I never said sub 6 didn't work perfectly I specifically said millimeter waves don't work perfectly and all the the newest iPhones have millimeter wave capability plus few countries have sub 6 too so your point is? I'm not even an apple hater they're making some pretty good phones now. Bought it on launch day and to be honest i really like it. went for the 128gb model for £250 and its a lot of phone for the buck. it feels premium as its a weighty phone, feels solid etc.

Even four years ago there were mid-range phones that were AMAZING, for example my Zenfone 3 that I still have and works flawlessly aside of the battery (can't do much about it, batteries die sooner or later). From all the comparisons I'm doing, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite may be at the same sweet price point as my Zenfone 3 was four years ago ;)

Thanks for showing the Geekbench scores against Pixel 5! Mi 10T lite has a graphic EQ (as I heard) and if the BT and jack sound quality is as good as on the poco x3, then it's definitely the best budget media consumption device! I usually watch media in the evenings, so IPS LCD seems to be nicer to my eyes.

I bought it as for a backup phone, and now I find myself more pleased with it than my iphone 11 and 12. Surprised how smooth and well it works. Camera is much worse than in top of the line models, but great for the money.

I think if ur in small country's that aren't recognized go for the poco x3 nfc with a good budget if u have a big budget and in a recognizable country get a mi 10t or 10tlite

The only differences are that the poco x3 doesn't have 5G and gorilla glass back. So do you want to pay extra for those two things?

Hello! Have you noticed a bug in the camera notch in this phone? When I make a video call with mine and place the phone horizontally (widescreen), a black circle appears at the top of the screen, as if the camera notch was in the wrong place.

Bought it on launch day with amazon prime, opted for the 64GB model due to the SD card slot (hooray)... Overall, extremely happy with how the phone turned out, never really had a top-tier flagship, but I would class myself as a heavy-ish user, and the new 750g has really impressed me (coming from a kirin 970, used a 980 for months). The screen, battery and camera all add up to a phone which wouldn't really be bad value at £300+ Long live Xiaomi!

At the 7 minute point an SD card slot gets a mention. Does this phone have one - mixed info online with some sites claiming it does and others claiming it is a pure dual sim. Can someone confirm that it has (or has not) a microSD slot please? Cheers.

A good, detailed review. Like many other tech reviewers you say ' price point'. Argh! Price ( unlike price range) is a point value - It's like saying something has a cash money value.

Forgot to add miui depends on hardware as well so features after the gauranteed may vary.

There is no lag or micro stutters on this phone with miui 12?

I got the 128gb for £190 brand new. Happy with the purchase. The 5g works well, good screen, superb fast charging, and above average photos. The camera lags a bit, but I also installed Google camera and works well. Oh and it has headphone jack! As with the occasional ads, you can disable them! Just a matter of getting used to miui as I'm used to samsung ui.

This or Poco X3, need an opinion because i'am going to buy one of them this week?

I use Mi 10T Pro but I just admit that MIUI12 still have a lot of bugs and I always report it to the dev. But yeah, the dev is fast in fixing it.

Have Mi A2, Mi 8Pro, Mi Note 10 Lite and Mi 10T Lite. Happy with every phone.

Bought it yesterday on Amazon UK for £199. Put it up against my Poco F2 Pro. In all honestly, just comparing the screens, LCD Vs Amoled. That did it for me sorry. I sent the phone back today. Can't beat a good Amoled. Thanks for the review. Keep up the great work 👌🏽

I agree. Amoled just has richer colours and better for media consumption. Gaming is nice on 120hz displays but very few games actually support this. Besides, 120 Hz eats more battery life and xiaomi's adaptive 120 Hz screen is not smooth from what I have seen. Imo, if someone wants to upgrade from a redmi note 7, 8, or 9, I argue to wait. Wait until xiaomi releases a phone with dimensity 820 or higher as that will be a clear game changer. If they add a high refresh amoled, then it's a no brainer if the price is under £300.
