Download TWRP for your phone and copy to adb folder. Open terminal and go to folder link. TWRP flash command is ./fastboot flash recovery (twrp name).img

You need to make sure you have mobile data it doesnt work with wifi

Same problem for me too...

I get this error after I typed in ./MiUnlockTool.command username password (Username and password is from my mi account) [20:28:05][INFO ] Starting login procedure [20:28:08][ERROR ] Login procedure failed, please check your login credentials [20:28:08][ERROR ] Login exception: Http sts request responded with status 401: Unauthorized Can anybody help me? I don't know what to do.

This is fastboot mode connection. It is not usb debugging mode.

username is Xiaomi ID space and password. are you sure connected your phone and Mac. check this command "./fastboot devices"

I don't found any error during bootloader unlock process. Bootloader request is waiting 7 days for Xiaomi device. please retry it.

@@agthuphyo7724 Thanks for your answer. I noticed MiUnlockTools is out of date and no longer supported, I tried by using XiaoMiTool V2 and it worked, just have to wait 7 days due to restriction.
