It's crazy that not that long ago that fitness trackers were only giving you the 4 or 5 options to swipe through kinda like the first couple of generation on the Fitbit charge series but now the fitness trackers now are getting really close in functionality compared to a full fledged smartwatch while also giving the right needs while giving you really good battery life on top of that. So compromising the right stuff to get a affordable price

Very true! Most trackers these days are smart watches without GPS.

Really glad you did this comparison as well, Mihail.....but now my brain is spinning between 4 options - Redmi Smart Band Pro, Mi Band 7, Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, and Amazfit Band 7. 😆 Actually I've been using the Redmi for months now, and of course it's quite similar to the Amazfit and Band 7 Pro....but I'm always looking for the one that wins in all arenas. You're quite right about the battery life on the larger form factor. I track sleep, BP, the occasional SPO2, as well as the occasional music player control. Since I don't purposely track exercise with it (although it clearly seems to know my activity, to a degree), I find that I only have to charge the Redmi about once every 5 weeks! Since I prefer the wider form factor, the only area where the Mi Band 7 seems to have an advantage for me, is that it still has the largest available selection of watch faces, which is a major factor for me. The Redmi has a fair amount available, but still only a fraction of the Mi Band 7. I'll have to investigate the range available for the Amazfit 7 Thanks!

4:39 is here a mistake? you say amazfit last longer but in the photo xiaomi lasts 14 days, amazfit 11.

@@mani12124 اره خریدم ،امیزفیت رو بخر خیلی هم از لحاظ نرم افزار جلوتره هم از نظر زیبایی ،چیزایی که امیزفیت داره مثلا نرم افزار اضافه داره میتونی روش نصب کنی یا کنترل سنتر اینا داره تو امیزفیت مثلا میخوای نور صفحه کم کنی از بالا میکشی پایین نور صفحه کم میکنی ولی از می بند باید بری ستینگ و کلی بگردی بعد

I've just done the opposite. Gave my amazfit band 7 away and got the mi band 7 cuz I got fed up of the rectangular shape

You have compared trackers like they are regular watches and havent mentioned or in any way compared what they are meant to do tracking...

Hey man, rlly love the shirt and great comparison overall! Planning to order the amazfit, reddit is mixed reviews so i have a few questions: Is HR and sleep measurement accurate? Can to-do and calendar be edited from the band only, without the app on the phone? If i have AOD, no auto HR and no auto measurement other than sleep, and have brightness around half, what kind of battery life can i expect? what utility apps are there in the store? can alexa work when the phone is disconnected from the band, say my phone was at home and i ask it questions at college or smth? is the system buggy? Ik this is a long list but it would be quite helpful if u could answer these, (perhaps act as a guide for ppl with the same questions)

Hey man, great questions! I believe sleep and HR tracking are good. You can make basic edits on the tohdo, but not on the calendar. With the mentioned kind of use - maybe close to 10 days. Alexa will not work without your phone. As for the apps - better don't count on a great variety.

Hello Michael! Love your reviews and the details you put into making them as simple as possible. However, can you help me with my purchase decision between xiaomi band 7, huawei band 7 and amazfit band 7? I personally like the look of huawei more than the other two but amazfit looks like and overall better package to me. Still its pretty tight for me between the 3. Hoping for an honest suggestion! Hey Maaz, thanks for the question. I try to openly speak about my biases, and generally - I am a big fan of Huawei's wearables. Mi Band has never had a design I really like, and this is why I like the 7 Pro a lot more than the regular "7". In that regard - among the three mentioned by you, I'd go for the Huawei Band. I just love the fact there's a hardware button.

meanwhile i bought a xiaomi band 7 pro global. looks like amazfit band 7 is a much better on software side. mi fitness is horrible. my girlfriend already used it with band 6 and disconnection problem is a general issue with all devices which we use with mi fitness. also very restricted. any zepp/amazfit/old mi fit is/was far better than the new software. but those users who choose amazfit (huami/xiaomi devices) will get much better experience cause the firmware has much more functions what can be handled by all compatible softwares. xiaomi band 7 pro is made by other vendor. so it is very restricted atm and limited in functions. what a bummer... so if someone don't need in-built gps these bands are still better options cause xiaomi band 7 pro is just dumb.

I cancelled my order and ordered Huawei band 6 Cuz i heard a lot on different different platform these kind of statements Amazfit may have been upgrading the sensors from generation to generation but one thing they have NOT upgraded was their HR algorithm. Now in the 4th generation, the watch is still suffering from a major flaw in that if fails to pick up the pulse in sudden and rapid spikes of the HR, in activities such as cycling, interval training, swimming and a few others. I may be climbing an uphill on my cycle and be getting an HR of as low as 56bpm (?). Amazfit is well aware of this problem but they have NOT bothered to adjust their algorithms as yet. The new Falcon as well as the T-REX 2 both suffer from the same flaw. It is possible that the flaw may have been passed on to other models of the Amazfit lineup as well.

I have the Amazfit Band 7, and there arent many options to load up different Watchfaces due to it being a rectangle shape. So the watchfaces you can download on 3rd party apps will load up but the aspect ration will be incorrect because they are made for the rounded edges of the other watch.

No GPS on either of these.

I have MI band 6 bracelet won't measure my cycling without my phone on me. always prints must be connected to the phone (both bluetooth and location must be turned on). I've tried everything and it won't measure me while I'm riding my bike without my phone.

Yeah, this is normal - it needs GPS and there is no in-built GPS in the Mi Band 6. It uses the phone for that

So in minute 4:33 you said Amazfit was giving you 4 to 5 days more than the Xiaomis, yet in the graphic, it shows that the Xiaomi Band 7 lasted more days than the Amazfit.

The battery life is not the only component that matters with trackers. I also say that both will offer almost identical performance

Watches costing 300-400 USD atleast can measure the elevation properly. Others can't. you cannot expect this feature in a budget.

@@manishgoyal7677 You are mistaken the altitude is recorded with the gps data, zepp/band 5 have a 2 years old software bug that they don't bother fix.

The Band 7 Pro has a GPS in-built, so does the Watch Fit 2. That's a big advantage.

My dad got me the iPhone 14 pro max because I topped my high school year. My old watch mi band 4 was having battery issues so I thought to get a new Apple Watch but couldn’t ask my father to buy it. So I’ll wait for this year to end (my last high school year) and then buy an Apple Watch, till then I’m thinking maybe I’ll use a mi band 7 or 7 pro or amazfit idk
