The video games have to be optimised now, and it will take a lot of time. Im just hoping that AAA games get more optimised in the future for mobile phones.

I'm coming from a OnePlus 8 pro. Honestly I missed the original oxygen os aesthetic since Android 11 update. But I got accustomed to new color os style in the Android 12 & 13. But I still feel oxygen os is better than hyper os overall. My only real reason to ditch OnePlus was the constant green line issues coming out of nowhere

Had the redmi note 4 pro, the redmi 6 pro, note 10 pro, x3 pro, note 5 pro. But my x3 pro died. So switched to iqoo neo 9 pro. The iqoo feels more fluid. But xiaomi offers many small small details that i have come to appreciate and miss on the iqoo

For those who're confused, HyperOS is not a rebranded MIUI. It visually looks a lot like MIUI but it's based on AOSP and has a rewritten kernel (MIUI was based on Google's android). It's a lot smoother and stable than miui. Let's see what happens in the future.

@@alone0316 The main difference is they don't necessarily have to include all the Google apps and service, so lighter system. Also they don't contain hardware specific drivers so more freedom to tweak and build things as per their likings. Also it'd probably result in faster software updates in theory. Let's see what actually happens in one year.

@@visordownn whatever Google apps and services OEM wants to include is completely their choice also regarding hardware specific drivers, Google's Android doesn't include and hardware specific stuff, aosp and Google's Android are completely same, basically aosp is the source code which they use to build stock ROM for Google pixel devices, all the android skins are derived from aosp also regarding update theory brands get android security patches 3 months before actual release, like it's March so brands are already having security patch changes of June

Xiaomi 14 also comes with E-sim support in India, a digital sim prevents misuse of the sim cards in case of theft. And between better color and details, I'd pick the cameras with more details (Xiaomi) as you can tweak the colors but you cannot add details to a photo. And the rear camera video from Xiaomi looked better to me, Oneplus's video felt a bit overexposed. With Ip-68 rating and 60fps selfie videos, Xiaomi 14 is a better package. Buy OnePlus if you are a heavy gamer.

@@JexoJahanzeb No, you shouldn't. 14 Pro is a solid phone. Unless it's troubling you don't get rid of it, keep the combo. Get Xiaomi 14 during sales and stuff, need to wait for 2-3 months to see if there are any issues with the phone.

Biggest drawback is the battery life for me. Even with moderate use it doesnt even last the whole day. Its not great for people who spend most of the time outdoors. Also it gets really hot even when using apps like camera and hd video playback. Ofcourse these are obvious issues with compact phones. Yes it comes ahead of OP12 is certain areas. But when it comes to usability experience, thats where OP12 has the upperhand imo.

It performed better in thermal throttling tests, and OnePlus 12 comes with a bigger cooling chamber and chasis so it's obvously going to run a bit cooler in some scenarios@@dameera9199

@@YaseenKabir Maybe in Previos Gen Not this one(Atleast I Hope so some of it was my fault for overcharging due to battery anxiety)...that is the reason for the smaller form factor and lower charging of 90W as compared to !20W....I know because I have owned the note 4,Redmi 8 Pro(Which was a fantastic mobile), Hypercharge 11i( Which xiaomi ruined with software update) & 12 Pro...apart from asus and samsung.

I am using one plus 12 and I didn't find anything wrong in camera as per your verdict and performance is too good. One should give more priority to performance. You won't be clicking photos throughout your day. I was a xiaomi 12 Pro User and Now own Xiaomi 14 and I must say the form factor is something to love. It is cute and neat Flagship mobile. Earlier on I felt it was not worth but I had the opportunity to see it in an offline store and I just fell in love with it. no more large mobiles for me. Oh and regarding Flat Vs curved??? I had a lot of issues gettin a tempered glass and having that liquid glue applied and luckily nothing happened to my display...thank god.....flat Glass is better bhai I used 12 pro for almost 2 years...good looking display but always the lingering worry.

Which application does you use for game records

The xiaomi 14 would be great if there is a 6.5 inch FHD+ 10bit display and reverse wired charging, PD charging and 5000 mAh battery. They can remove the wireless charging and give us an UltraSonic fingerprint sensor. Also, they can provide a dedicated dual stereo speakers. I hope they will launch a Xiaomi 14 lite to fix this.

The battery life test for Xiaomi 14 was missing for one to actually judge the battery performance as phone is also smaller, if you have any test results could you share that.

I bought Xiaomi 14 on the first day of sale..loving it..if i have to say any thing Xiaomi lagging it is the battery. It can last one day of average usage..rest everything is amazing haptics all..i have used many mi devices mi 5 , then Xiaomi 10 T and many other redmi devices too..this one is truly amazing.. potrait camera is doing magic..better connectivity faster speed (uploading) compared to same network on my last device. Great review but one cannot compare small and big phones. But Xiaomi 14 has a huge advantage here with compact phone, flagship performance and great cameras. Primary camera sensor is bigger on xiaomi and you can ultimately win with better sensor, everything else being the same. I wonder if we test with Google Camera would the colors be different.

I watched two camera comparison videos between Xiaomi and OnePlus 12..... OnePlus did a better job in the consistency part as well as colour but details wise, Xiaomi did slightly better and their pictures look prettier... Btw how did you take pictures? Just point and shoot? Or point and shoot until you get a good image?

I don't know where have you counted no of 5G bands in OnePlus 12, it has 13 5G bands and not 19. Everyone here can check on their website.

You say the OnePlus selfie portrait edge cut out is better but look at it seperately, it looks artificial with line edges. It doesn't blend it to look natural and therefore looks very cut paste type. The edges need to blend in with the background smoothly without missed edges. A straight sharp cut out is never gonna look natural.

The real optical zoom is actually 2.6X only but for marketing Xiaomi promotes 75mm which is actually 3.2X

Go for xiaomi 14 bruh,Vivo is not a reliable brand and it sucks at everything except cameras + ui is trash filled with ads and bloatwares,doesn't feel that premium and Vivo phones doesn't age well,same goes for OnePlus it ain't the same OnePlus it uses to be before, OnePlus is suffering right now better stay away from it and coming to the specific OnePlus 12,as you saw in the video the only thing where it beats the xiaomi 14 is the battery department and that too coz it's comparatively wayy bigger than xiaomi 14 while xiaomi 14 is a more of a balanced all rounder phone worthy of being called a flagship,comes with better cameras,better haptics,better speakers,better os,wayy better form factor,better display,better design and feel and a ton of extra features and customisations

I 've been using op12 for over a month now and I have gotten 2 or 3 updates. I think the cameras are better on the OnePlus from the samples I have seen from xiaomi 14, also Xiaomi should have kept the price at 60k to beat OnePlus's premium brand value and compensate for their still mediocre software experience. If not for the camera I would have still got the OnePlus for the software 🤷

In all tests that I've watched with Xiaomi 14 in it, it's always second or first to have it's battery drained. OnePlus on the otherhand last almost always, 3rd or 4th. 5500mAh paired with 100W charging (24mins to 100%) is really good for daily usage, however you use it.
