Hi, I just bought the Xiaomi 14 to help me do my recording while traveling and recording my adventures. I must admit it is an amazing tool but I realized that for a rookie like me with all the camera details a video like yours is super. I will look for more details on your channel so obviously I subscribed. Thanks for the trash course. I had the phone only for a few days but it is a beast in terms of phone. I love it so far.

Hi Adam, Thanks for the fantastic summary of the video features. I just wonder why is there is Master Cinema if there is LOG? Could you give me examples when would you choose one over the other? Thanks! :)

Hey man, so, you can only shoot in Log if Master Cinema is turned off, so you can use the Master Cinema mode instead of the usual video recording mode to give a better movie like motion blur and the wide aspect ratio otherwise you can stick to LOG, many don't want to adjust the colors in post, hence why Master Cinema exists :)

I didn't think you mentioned the fact that the camera handle is Bluetooth I think that explains the use of other devices as a secondary monitor Good video though

Yeah man, totally didn’t take it off from the phone ever since I put it on 😅

Couldn't wait to get the camera kit, problem is it doesn't work properly, you cant use EV compensation when in pro mode, if you set it to say,, shutter speed or ISO instead, that doesn't work in normal mode, set the zoom lever up, it doesn't work in pro mode, and you cant re-allocate to another function other than zoom which doesn't work in pro mode, surely most of the folk willing to fork out for the camera kit are photographers, professional or armature looing for that familiar feel and control, so why set the dam thing up this way it makes it almost useless, /gutted

Good and informative video, thanks!. But i'm missing information about if you can record 10bit log on all backfacing cameras or if it's restricted to the 1 inch main camera. Also is it possible to input external audio from say a dedicated recorder with separate microphone via usb-c into the device to use that audio when recording video.

1) Almost the same; 2) Same focus speed but Sony has less focus breathing; 3)I don't recommend buying the Chinese version; 4) Heat management is better than the Samsung S24 Ultra

that was a test unit, debunked in a lot of videos, after global launch and update it has been fixed! it no longer crashes while in stress test
