I think the software of Xiaomi needs some tweaks and some more app optimisation as it is a newer OS (i know it looks like Miui 14 but the biggest change is that HyperOs is built upon new Kernal to make it lightweight as well as to make seemless support to tye Xiaomi ecosystem) I'm mainly saying this because Gangster Vegas loads fairly faster in my phone than 14 pro. Mine is Redmi K50i for info.. So HyperOs needs still needs some more patches to fully utilize its potential.

Xiaomi has potential to beat iPhone but due to new chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and their New HyperOS which is having completely different kernel Xiaomi seems little behind, well wait for some updates because iPhone 15 Pro Max was also not stable with iOS 17 when it was launched and due to some loop bugs in their Ai chip it was doing some complex computation and thus heating like to 50 degrees while playing basic things like Spotify . Also Xiaomi is almost 1/3 price in india compared to iPhone 15 Pro Max 😂🥰

I think the slower loading speed is due to a slower storage read write speed in the Xiaomi which have very minimal effect on the actual performance and daily usage. The 8 gen 3 gpu and cpu are actually better on sustained performance cause A17 Pro throttles a lot based on multiple tests I have seen.

Xiaomi will do the update for 14 and 14 pro. it's too early to do comparison for this phone

Really xiaomi needs heavy optimisation or it will just waste of using snapdragon 8 gen 3. the monster is coming within 2 month S24 ultra.

No shocker, the iPhone won easily as it has had nearly 6 weeks to get multiple updates to fix issues, improve optimisation, and update apps for the new chip. There is no rush for devs to update Android apps for SD8G3 as quickly due to the staggered launch of the new chip. Samsung will benefit as apps should be sorted by the end of Jan when they are released. Anyway, now Apple has sorted out many issues, at least most. The A17 Pro looks a beast, and titanium scares were just flexing by the usual suspects. Also, the nonsense about the iPhone having poor thermals has been put to bed. Tests suggest it stays cooler than the overhyped vapour-chambered S23U. It's not a great start for the first SD8G3 flagship, the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Shows that taking at face value Qualcomm marketing using a reference device in a freezer doesn't represent what we will actually see in phones.

Yes you’ve nailed it. Everyone has been saying “Qualcomm finally beaten Apple” but in reality Apple doesn’t offer reference devices three times as thick as a normal phone, with huge chonk bezels and a vapor chamber, nor do they test their phones in a freezer or with magnetic fans on the back. Sure the GPU of the 8 Gen 3 may be marginally faster in raw performance, but the A17 CPU is marginally faster in raw performance as well, and as we saw with last year’s A16 vs 8 Gen 2 comparison, which traded blows in exactly the same way, CPU bottlenecks the GPU so faster CPU equals more performance even in games. Plus nobody is mentioning the most recent tests, which show the 8 Gen 3 throttling down to half its performance and losing to the A17, A16, and 8 Gen 2. Not a great showing!

Wrong, the games are not rendered in 2K, there is an internal limit of game resolution, IOS is around 800P while Android is around 720P, the games on IOS have better graphics and higher internal resolutions, it is not a fair comparison, and even with disadvantage the iPhone does better.

Game loading speeds are more about the storage read write speed rather than the cpu/gpu. Apple chips gives high benchmark scores but they throttles really quick.

technically bionic chip is not so powerful than snapdragon . in apple gpu frequency 1398 mhz and sd 778 mhz .apple gpu only have 1000 core but in snapdragon gpu have 2500 core . in apple every apps are optimised for bionic chip.. that's why apple is more faster.if Android app developer did the same thing for a specific phone with gen 3 or 2.. bionic chip can't beat .
