This xiao love lately is insane… first his set, then faruzan, then furina that synergizes with him and now xianyun that doubles his dmg. I feel its a dream come true haha. Love ur runs man!

just wanderer proving he's the superior anemo dps. He doesn't need overkill buffs like xiao does.

@@Alicia-kk6cl Oh boy time to get into it. nah, the investment gap is bridged by the fact that Xiao is allowed a dedicated, premium support in the run. Wanderer is allowed no outside help. In fact, Xiao’s wep refinements and constellations are so bad that it’s not worth going higher than C1R1. Xianyun’s are so bad that it’s not worth going above C2R1. Xianyun’s buff only works on 1 enemy by the way, and Xiao hates the enemies on the first 2 chambers of the 2nd side (despite it being AOE) because he is inflexible - Wanderer handles the 2nd side much easier because he lacks a big weakness, but carries many strengths. Xiao is needy - he’s matchup dependent (collision plunging, and just look at his c6), energy hungry (burst-dependent, hurts his dps potential), self-harming, bad at breaking shields, struggles to hit aerial enemies, and is therefore inflexible. He gets most of his power from his premium teammates - not himself. On the other hand, Wanderer is a 1 man army. He’s mobile, ranged (safer), more damaging (at high investment), excellent at breaking shields, and elemental skill-based (allows him to ignore ER, big deal for artifacts). If an argument is that wanderer is too vulnerable to being hit and knocked around, it’s quite literally a skill issue, because he’s given the proper tools to avoid [avoidable] damage. In most scenarios, Xiao’s “excellent” aoe becomes irrelevant in the comparison, since wanderer’s is usually more than enough - enemies very easily group in this game. Even if they’re not perfectly grouped and he can only hit say 3 enemies out of a group of 5, he’ll burn those 3 like it’s nothing, then bulldoze the other 2 in a similar time to Xiao’s hitting all 5. He’s also exceptional at sniping enemies that are not tightly grouped due to his auto target and high single target dps. At the same time, Xiao’s single target is heavily underrated, since he does great damage in those scenarios if he is getting collision plunges. I should also note that Xiao heavily relies on collision plunging (that extra damage you see at the beginning of a plunge). If he can’t do that to his enemy, especially in single target, his damage falls off a cliff

Nah bro. While the skill issue part might be true to a certain extent, Xiao’s aoe still adds significant value over wanderer. I think that ur perspective is seriously slanted by wanderer’s c6 and constellations. As a c0 wanderer player who has invested a crazy ton into him within confines of being a f2p, I think that given the short duration of his skill at c0 and his damage, xiao’s aoe comes out on top as being much more quality of live when dealing with groups. Also have you fought consecrated beasts with wanderer without a shield? Bruh that shit is impossible for the casual player. Xiao and wanderer is around the ama level in my opinion. C6 Xiao damage also way surpasses c1 Xiao with a buff. I think you kinda underestimated the power to be able to hit enemies with 6 of those high multiplier Es in a row. But I will concede the energy part. I get ptsd from that shit every time I don’t have my burst and only have 10s left to clear 💀

​​​​​​@@phamphuminh2058you bragging about xiao aoe? Scara has more than enough aoe for me. My faruzan ain't even c6 so she can't group enemies yet, but I had no troubles with his aoe. I'd also like to point out what u said about his skill duration. Scara has a long enough skill of 10 seconds (can be increased with hydro swirl from passive). Constellations don't increase the duration of his skill btw edit: xiao is a really needy character. He not only needs a healer, a battery, a buffer, he also needs a shielder. Scara on the other hand just needs buffers to get u through abyss. If u have skill issues u would also need a shield, but with his passive, you can just dodge enemy attacks mid-air with enough practice.
