Jinhsi creeping everyone in 1.0 imo But, looking at the leaks we have so far, I feel like Jinhsi is an exception. Like an Archon level unit. I wonder if all Magistrates will get that treatment.

@@T8-TR Changli also really, the difference is the flashiness of their kit, Jinhsi R.Skill combo dragon laser beam and Liberation is the highlight of her animation and the fact she walks in the air if you pause in her R.Skill attack while for Changli her highlight is that her appearance change, her basic attacks are very flashy compared to Jinhsi, her R.Skill and Ult are also flashy but compares to Jinhsi less.

Gameplay wise, Yao might feel comfortable. But aesthetics, animations and the sheer presence will always go to Calorie.

Calcharo's has some of the coolest looking animations from 1.0, but Xiangli Yao looks like he would feel much smoother to actually play. Here is hoping the leaks about him being free are acurate. (And hope an Yinlin rerun is not too far off in the future.)

I know you'll play what you want, but that's really impractical on how their kits work. You should pair one with Yinlin and a Support. The other could use Jianxin or Sanhua and a support.

That sounds really bad buildwise if Yao is a main dps. They don't work like other dps with smaller damage window or that have buffing outros like Yinlin.

Now I did like Jiyan so it’s not like I’m disappointed with all, but it feels limited. I am aware that people can have different opinions in regards to liking or disliking a design, but I do think it’s objective that in comparison to the female limited 5 stars he doesn’t really compare in the detail department.

Xianlin Yao is gonna be my main

I loved Calcharo's design so much I picked him... but he is agonizing to play and not even Yinlin can save him. I hope Xiangli Yao has good Yinlin synergy.

Xiangli Yao's liberation looks like it lasts really long, maybe even permanent as long as he has those cubes floating around him, and those cubes looks like it only get's consumed when he uses a skill or forte. Definitelty gonna power creep Calcharo

Kakarot feels so clunky to play right now. If i got Yao i'll bench my s2 Kakarot from my Yinlin team. Maybe i can use him as a spare team to clearing floor 2 or 3.

When many players keep saying rip Calcharo, I will pair him with Xiangli and take Verima or Yinlin as support. Those shildren. Now they all think Calcharo worth nothing! 😂

I dunno why they are being so compared. I dont even have Calcharo and I still think he is cooler. Xiangli got cool animations tho, but I still prefer sword users over martial artists.

Aside from both being electro dps, people are mad because he might powercreep Calcharo and they already invested on him or are just simps, so they make excuses like whining skill issue if his kit is better than his, or that he looks cooler, etc. Which he does, but it doesn't change most likely he's going to be an improved Calcharo.

Am I the only one who doesnt like where the newer movesets are going? Too fast, too flashy.

Calcharo mains on comment trying their hardest to justify calcharo while ignoring his noticeable flaws. Yeah sure you can admire him for the animation, blah blah but til they buff him just suck your thumb whenever you lack dps clearing end game content. I say this because i use him on one of my 4 teams at UL63. Though i cleared everything using him it still feels lacking compared to other core dps on my other teams

lacking dps with cal? damn must be either skill issue. You answer your whole dilemma here, if you can clear everything then, dps wont matter because you arent speed running the content. Animation and character design have more value at that point. Dont be too meta slave, big number are fun, but obsessed over it just unhealty.

Powercreep will never end, but one thing remain the same is your favourite unit. I can hit 1 million nuke with jinshi and still play cal who hit like a wet noodle tomorrow.

​@@myvariant9745It's not counted as coordinated attacks but I do get the confusion because it sounds like it since it's description is "When the incoming Resonator's Basic Attack hits a target, Xiangli Yao will attack the same target, dealing Electro DMG equal to 237.63% of Xiangli Yao's ATK. This attack can be triggered once every 2s, up to 3 times." But we need gameplay leaks to be 100% sure.

For better or worse, I don't think that's true... Without Yinlin's help, Calcharo's single target damage is only on pair with the rest of the 1.0 5* characters. And that's despite his lower AoE and having a higher skill floor than most characters, due to slower attack animations that make it harder to time your parries / leave him vulnarable if you don't use swap cancelling effectively. Unless they give Yao lower multipliers than any of the 1.0 5*s (Well, except for Lyngyang, I guess) Yao should be able to do AT LEAST as well as Calcharo even on single target scenerios, and that's without considering his ease of use. I'm willing to bet that Yao + Yinlin is gonna be the strongest team in the game until Zhezhi comes out and makes Jinhsi even crazier.

@@erluq9309 Zhezhi is a support that isn't spectro like Verina meaning on top of supporting her DPS output Zhezhi also contributes stacks which makes Jinhsi rotations faster. It's possible for her to get max stacks every rotation

@@Ilikegames804 Zhezhi is a sub-DPS with coordinated attacks, she replaces Mortefi/Yinlin/Yuanwu, not Verina. However, she has one thing that none of those chracters do: Skill Damage deepen on her outro skill. Assuming she is about as strong as Yinlin otherswise, that skill DMG deepen is going to be a huge boon.

Just that Yinlin outclassed Yuanwu/Verina core through buff and damage and both Yuanwu and Yinlin are same element so the stacks generation was 1 stack higher than Verina except Verina buff. 1(Jinhsi)+3(Yinlin)+2(Yuanwu)=6. 1(Jinhsi)+3(Yinlin)+1(Verina)=5+Verina buff. Now it be. 1(Jinhsi)+3(Zhezhi)+3(Yuanwu)=7. 1(Jinhsi)+3(Zhezhi)+1(Verina)=5+Verina buff. Can Yuanwu win? Maybe or not. Haven't seen calc yet but the gap with Verina has surely reduced.
