Harai = Sweep Gari = Reap Gake = Hook
Would love to see the kodokan guys classify actual competition examples. A lot of the time it’s very vague

You're right, but often times it's still even more vage in competition. Sometimes it's up to the observer to decide what's what. Luckily we have channels like yours or like Chadi's 🙏👍
This series is GOLD!!! It’s helped my judo so much in such a short time! Please do not stop creating these. Please do it for all of the throws.
講道館のビデオはかなり面白くて大変助かります!これで細かくて理解できて学べました。
Thank You very much! I've had problem with differences between these techniques.
Arigato, sensei. Fantastic.
Great video
Super useful video about a common confusion, hope one day visit the Kodokan. Arigato gozaimasu !
Its funny how these two techniques un particular look like they are lame throws on form. But when they are applied in randori they hit really hard!
Hermosa proyección
Awesome, ARIGATOU Sensei. 🇧🇷♥️🥋

Watch and learn. Right from the source of judo. Thank you so much.
