Did you have problems connecting your Mini OBD to cellphone 📱?? I am having trouble getting my iPhone 📱 connected to my OBD. I got the Bluetooth on, tried turning the Bluetooth on & off. Charged the OBD. Do I need the XHorse Key Tool Max ? I own the XHorse Mini Key Tool & it connect to my iPhone 📱 perfectly.

Do try it on a vauxhall insignia for read pin code. Just get constant screen err. Error codes. .

Can You honestly answer what is vehicle coverage? how PIN code retrieving works base on percentage? also device need purchase the tokens? I have professional tools, but like to have "pocket size" backup gadget device. Just don't want to waste 200 $ If I find this useless ... Thanks

Really like your videos. Based on the recommendations I purchased the odb mini. First time of using this tool on a skoda fabia it wouldn't pull the code for me. It failed to communicate with the car.

I thought you needed the key tool max to use the mini obd. I have the mini and love it but wanted obd capabilities as well and thought that would be great to use with the app on my phone but I was told you need the max. I have the max and the obd now so the point is moot but I’m wondering if that mini obd is just usable if you don’t have the key tool max as well. All the ads led me to believe I needed the max. Oh well I have the combo and right after I bought it the pro max with the obd cables and testing cables came out for less money than I paid for the pair and has more features. I wish I could exchange it.

I just on the same road . So it looks like it can be used as a stand alone but I am sure it won’t have the same total functionality as what you have now .

Yes, once you've read the pin you can use the Key Tool Max to program a key

@@AutowaveLimited does it also work with mini tool, I got the VVDI mini tool and superchip, I cloned my friend's Hilux but my Nissan Hardbody NP300, I think its a 2006/7 dont want to clone so I want to get the mini obd tool

@@AutowaveLimited I have the Xhorse app and it has mini obd function, I wanted to buy the obd tool but the salesperson says it wont work, the Nissan Hardbody isnt on the list I need to use a high end device like Autel but dont have the money for it. Rather stick the original transponder chip and coil under the dash and get after market alarm with relay that I can use as injector pump kill switch
