wow, when I heard BT - Dreaming.... my brain instantly went back to me racing this game and my bike going supersonic and me just having an amazing time. Good memories, TY. (11:59 still gives me goosebumps)

Tbh I think Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 did a better job with capturing the early 2000s music vibe than XGRA *this was when EA was still an awesome game publisher* but I agree, this game does have a badass soundtrack.

Man, "Last Firstborn" still stirs something up.

My childhood game you will never be missed. My favorite songs were David Aude BT godspeed Jose puente - proactive Celdweller( can't remember which one though)

PSA: The entire series soundtrack (including this one) comes with the Steam copy of XG2, it has control issues but the music alone is worth it. My thoughts: Hitting the sound barrier in the game as the sound effects cut out and these songs play clean, just some good moments. I was encouraged to keep my speed and drive better just to get more clean music. Game is best at its mid point in the campaign.

1:24:28 - Noise Therapy - Far Away is the song I've been singing for the past 13 years even after I somehow lost my copy of this game. Jamming to this racing through Vostok Peaks was my shit.

Dude, Far Away is a mega-classic nu metal song. I can't believe it's so lost. It's not on any streaming services or anything that I can find.

I randomly bought it at the store when I was a kid. And I so not regretted it. After releasing such good games like this and Burnout 2 Acclaim sadly just vanished. My favourites: Dreaming - BT Own Little World - Celldweller ... but man.. they're all so nostalgic. I just now realize HOW MANY Celldweller songs are in XGRA actually :D

God, I miss when studios still made these types of racing games. I want a new type of combat racer so badly

Mercury and solace, Godspeed and LAST FIRST BORN are my favorites! I still remember playing it on GC and I still can hear those songs on my head up to this day. I’ve been listening to Celldweller thx to this awesome game.

Best Soundtrack!

One of the best racing games ever, and the soundtrack off the charts to bad people didn't appreciated and get how advanced the game was for its time. Hands down one of my favorite games. Thank you for putting this together.

One Good Reason by Celldweller, before the music gets heavy some instrument samples from Track 1-3 of Extreme-G 1 (N64) are used.

XGRA = Wipeout but with bikes in a nutshell. Also isn’t it kinda funny how both this game and NFS Most Wanted has One Good Reason by Celldweller but NFSMW has the instrumental version while XGRA has the Vocals version? Someone said the reason why EA cut out the vocals was supposedly due to the song talking about suicide but for both of these games being Rated T I find it stupid. Though I will admit this, I feel like the vocal version of One Good Reason being in XGRA much more fitting since the game involves you killing riders through vehicular combat and suicide involves killing yourself meanwhile NFSMW is about street racing and evading the police.

Hi, soundtrack was divided into "Dance" and "Rock" mixes (with third option to have it all). Do you know, which songs were in Dance mix, and which were in Rock mix? Obviously I could determine by "listening" but maybe you found that somewhere in game files.

Just letting yall know you can replay this game on your phone with a GameCube emulator however you need a descent phone to run it.

More like you need a snapdragon phone, as litterally everything that has a Mali GPU is ass. It's easy to blame exynos or Kirin when ARM scams you every year with piss poor GPUs. Even Kirin's mid-range phones are as powerful as a snapdragon 855, the GPUs just aren't ready for the generational jump, never have been and never will be.

The Rush, the cover song for this game. IDC what anyone says. lol

Game was alright and the soundtrack is fine but it nowhere near beats XG2's soundtrack imo, you just can't beat that jungle sound
