Let me tell you this they’re all learning how to be writers they’re constantly learning to get better. XG - TAPE #4 shows how individually creative they can be Jurin, Harvey, Maya, and Cocona are the dedicated rappers of this group but this was their first full rap/hip-hop track. They’re really a RnB and Hip-Hop group. 7 members in total. You’ll see just how talented they are, all of them can Sing, Dance, and now rap after this release.

I love they’re infiltrating more “rap” reactors reactions! These girls are shifting the culture! They do all styles at this level! Hit that rabbit hole, some may not be your style but you’ll see the all around talent. Singing, rapping, dancing etc.

Aight lemme beak it down 4u as a Gen-X Hiphop head. These girls can write but struggle as they ain’t hip to American culture coming from Japan so they play with rhyme schemes & pay homage for the lyrics plus they want to spread Positive music so it’s clean rap but are still young so we will see the pen game later. All there Official Songs were already made as far back as 2019 while they were still in training. They have tons of songs ready to drop so they won’t have writing credits for awhile but they were asked to make a song for a Dance Battle Show so they showed their pen game in that song. If you notice they don’t rap about current events as the songs was already made years ago. Their mixtapes which XG calls them tapes are recent and they said they are in the writing process with it n the tapes have current pop culture events which goes to show the writing is current. These girls knows that writing is a big part of HipHop but they can’t show it till later. Hope that explains why they can’t have writing credit. They ain’t no Aubrey. They open about the concerns n address them.

I always love first time reactors on our girls. They are straight 🔥 If you want to see some straight hip hop they do some side quests, apart from just MV projects. They brought out some XG tapes #1,2,3,4. English is their third language, so they rap in 3 languages in their tapes ie Japanese, Korean with English being their primary. However, what I have read is because they are fairly young and English being their third language, they do need some help

If you cannot do dance choreography while rapping or singing at all you cannot be a member of XG or even any kpop group (korean group) even if you rap and sing super well , its mandatory to know how to dance to beocme a members of XG or all of kpop groups. Thats the big difference between the modern american artist and kpop or this group XG. There used to be Usher and chris brown, that can dance while rap/sing but now those american artist don't really exist any more. All kpop idols group can all dance but in the modern age american singer needs backup dancer to do the dancing for them. In America all you need is to sing well and you can become a singer but in south korea girl or male group singers that is not the case. If you not all rounder in the dancing and singing department then you can never make it over there

But also as a fellow hip hop fan and a huge music admirer, i would like to suggest to check out BTS. People hardly know this but BTS has a very strong Hip Hop element in their music, especially old school hip hop. 2 of the members came from underground rappers, and 1 from hip hop street dancer. So yea.. they're really good. And they really were and still are the students of the game. This list right here are some of their best songs/tracks.
