I'm not sure, it could be BP. They mentioned "CROWN" BlackPink's last album... what was on the album cover ? a huh !! Tippy Toes was XG's debut as well, which means they were coming out of the gate's challenging BlackPink and Kpop. Everything after this seems to have a stepped up level in sets/effects, hair and makeup, and editing. Personally I don't think they're coming after Black Pink, I think they've got higher ambitions. I feel like they're coming for all the top artists in the west.

XGは、7人の日本人グループです。目指しているのは世界です。英語で歌うのも世界を目指しているからです。 残念ながら、日本からデビューするのは、日本語の歌詞でないXGには難しい事です。韓国からデビューする方が、海外の方々に見つけてもらいやすい。XGのプロデューサーは日本と韓国のハーフであり、元はKpopのアイドルグループに所属していました。日本でも、韓国でも活動していました。彼はノウハウを持っていました。 XGが批判されていたのは、韓国語で歌わないのに、韓国でデビューした事やKpopを利用した日本人グループと見られていたことが要因なのかと思います。人気が出る前は無視されて、人気が出たら、敵と見なされたのかな？私の考えでは、敬意を持っていれば、音楽に垣根は無いと思いますが。
