I totally agree with you when you said some idols don’t have that certain connection to a second genre like hip hop. It felt forced on them. XG, embraces it and stays true. I love how they give respect to the original artists and the OG hip hop artist back in the day. These are not covers, unlike other idols out there that just covers the original. This is a remix, a cypher. They put their own flavor into it. Sure there are idols out here that can rap cast or sound like the original. They are doing it differently. Love love love XG. Is VOX next?. Oooof I cannot wait. XG is spoiling as and it’s only June. From their documentary, 3 meals a day show, HITC NYC, and now the new xyphers

XG is unbelievable talented and they definitely have the OLD SCHOOL hip hop vibe…NO ONE ☝🏽 else has. The lyrics and the delivery 🚚 is 🔥❤️‍🔥🙌🏽🙆🏻‍♀️.

i completely agree on raps being forced into kpop songs. i really miss the days back in early-mid 2nd/3rd gen where you had groups who were strong overall vocally and known for vocals. then you had other groups who were really good at dancing overall and were dance heavy groups. and then you had some who were extremely strong with rapping and it was at the forefront. now i feel it's just common and a bare minimum blueprint to include all these things. and some groups DO blend it all well but because there isn't much change from the blueprints, grouos/songs end up feeling repetitive unfortunately.

So, many doubles and i think even a few triple entendres were slayed on this Anderson Paak Cordae beat! The "Ride Or Die" is the chorus from Left Right! "I Got 5 On It" refrence Luniz one of the most iconic songs. Which also, refrence the other 5 members of XG. That John Wick bar could refrence the bus scenes where Maya was dark with chains and Harveys sunlight and empty! And the homage they'd paid. Maya is a fire 🔥 lyricist! Harvey drips confidence and swagger. They both have that MC Hammer " You Can't Touch This" attitude! XG Alphaz. CONGRATULATONS .

@@Lycaonightley yeahhh I haven’t seen them promote as much globally compared to the amount they’ve been promoting in Korea yet so I can’t really compare them with what artists in the US or UK… or Latin America etc are doing like they have a show on MNET and have been doing music bank and that type of stuff and I can only find stages and stuff from Korean channels like KBS? So yeah I haven’t really seen them doing global equivalents? If they’ve been promoting as much in other counties pls lemme kno! I’m sure they’ll get bigger and expand but for now I can’t really compare them beyond the industry in Korea rn cos that’s where they’ve been mostly promoting!

@@fifizappareacts yeah I don’t think AVEX/XGALX knows how to promote artists globally or has any good connection with overseas media. As far as I know they did (1) some interviews with English/Indonesian/Indian media (2) Times Square Amazon music ads (3) HITC NY and LA but those aren’t much. Having said that Left Right has been doing great on US radio chart
