XG is a global girl group under XGALX, a sub-label of Avex, the biggest music label in Japan. The girls are all Japanese, their songs are all English, and their media mixes Japanese, English AND Korean. Strong recommend on reacting to the cypher! It doesn't have subtitles tho so I'd recommend pulling up lyrics too. Vocal line covers would also be a great watch, they really do have gorgeous R&B voices. Rigend Film did the MV - they are GOD tier with the transitions and visuals!

They debuted one year ago this month & this is their third single. They're a Japanese gg based in SK using a K-pop formula but focused on R&B. You should do a deep dive cuz everything they touch is good & just broke into US Top 40 this week.

Fun Fact about XG is that 2 of their producers are from 2 2nd gen Kpop groups. Simon Sakai from Dalmatian and Chance from One Way. You can tell where the inspiration comes from because they're both two dudes that grew up in America in the 90s early 2000s; so they've got a heavy 90s/00s influence; which is so fun.

I like to watch the Behind the Scenes shows of MONSTA X recording their songs. They really work hard at perfecting certain sounds and the moods or concepts of the songs, and it really delivers a quality song and video for all of us. They could just stand there and hum a song and I would be intrigued because of their major swag. My favorite MONSTA X song is Gambler or Burning Up.

Dj Tezzy where you at? We miss you man. Nice monsta x videos. So with beautiful liar I’m not sure who did the mv or did the music part of the song. But the lyrics the rappers jooheon and IM and also hyungwon who was on the horse all three of them wrote the lyrics to it. And for Lone Ranger hyungwon wrote that song. That one is my second favorite off the album. My first favorite is crescendo. Every one of us goes crazy for crescendo lol that one shocked the crap out of us.

lol Beautiful Liar is from a different beast of SM: Ryan S Jhun. Like Adrian McKinnon, he's had a hand in a LOT of top tier kpop, as a lyricist, composer, and producer. Highqualityfish did the MV - they've done a bunch of other MX MVs (Fantasia, Love Killa, Gambler, etc) plus Taemin's iconic Move, Stray Kids' debut District 9 and My Pace.

DJ Tezzy really brings out an extra edge to Monsta X songs. I am missing the remix nights.
