One thing about XG is they have versatility in their discography no two songs are alike and for a new group thats unfathomable, not only that they do it so well based on the reaction of LR it’s clear that RnB isn’t your taste and that’s totally fine. I would recommend XG HESONOO and X-GENE Performance Video, NEW DANCE, and GRL GVNG (specifically their dance practice ver. Because the MV doesn’t have the full song.) Thanks for the honest reaction hopefully you continue to enjoy watching XG.

It’s hard to figure out what what people like and don’t like. Out of all the girl groups out there, XG Is the first to actually be my literal favorite. Left Right be my most favorite. I can tell the difference between Left Right and Shooting Star. I like both for what they are. My best bet Is to check out “New Dance”. If you like Shooting Star more because It’s kind of like a pop song while Left Right being more of a R&B song then probably you’ll like New Dance. Other than that, Idk what else to suggest. I’d say “Mascara” and “Puppet Show” but for sure New Dance.

As much as it hurt hearing the ratings to their first song which holds a special place in my heart lol, I appreciate the brutal honesty and am so glad the girls were able to redeem themselves! Also, XG is an all-Japanese (2 mixed; Harvey 5:28 Japanese/white {Australian}; Hinata 4:00 Japanese/Korean) global girl group based in Korea but seeing as they’re a global group, all their songs are only English!

XGALX was established since 2017 in Japan. XG is labeled under AVEX Japanese entertainment (Kuroiwa- AVEX CEO) and promoted the group with Simon Jaklops. XG considered to be XPOP and not KPOP or JPOP. The members of the group had a lot of different ideas about what language the lyrics should be in. Some said that since the members are Japanese, they should sing in Japanese, but ultimately they came to the conclusion that since they’d be targeting the global market, including the Korean market, English would be best. None of the members are native speakers, so we really focused on pronunciation from the very start of their artist development.

Wow to call Left Right a 4 of 10 is harsh as it made Rolling Stones top 100 for 2023 & was played in the radio for 10 weeks. For it to be a 4 would be a flop in the Industry. Most people say good song but not my type. The beat flows with the lyrics. There's dynamics to the song, riffs n runs. I'm just a bit taken back as your the first in 11 months to have ranked that song a 4 when people who don't like the song sees the production value but admits it's not the type of music they listen to. Appreciate the honesty. Nice reaction.

Looking forward to your third strike. One thing with XG is that they don't stick to one single type of sound, but have variability. Shooting Star is like a mix of hip hop, pop, EDM and R&B; Left Right is much more R&B, Winter Without You is pure R&B; X-Gene is drill, TGIF is EDM-hip hop. Etc. From this reaction, I would guess that you'd like New Dance, or perhaps Puppet Show. But yeah, thanks for your honest opinion, and I much prefer this approach to a lot of reactors who are just faking it to get clicks.

It is so bad in fact that their expectations for XG is so low coming into this Shooting star reaction. I know everybody's got their own taste but this might be the first reactor I've seen that said left right is bad. Lol.

The guy without the hat said he didn’t NOT like it, he just felt it was a bit “basic” and rated it a 4, the other dude on the other hand didn’t like it at all and that’s perfectly fine, R&B isn’t for everybody!
