First of all, music is universal. No one has to stick to any specific genre or style. Second of all, do you know anything about XG? If you did, you'd know that they don't try to be Korean. They're very proud of their Japanese Heritage. Also, they don't sing K-pop. They're simply a global pop group influenced by Western R&B and hip hop.
