I would argue that she has not aged a day, thoughts versus experience versus body...some say the older we get, the younger we become. she is better then what we have expected her characters to be. just really good. :- )

Such an honest, warm and engaging interview ... 24 episodes in 12 months in the old days? Wow ... as for that 'one word' .. hmm ... 'Sardonic' could it be ...? Not sure .... but how brave for Gillian to have grown old(er) so gracefully before our eyes as she has graced X-Files from so long ago then till now - and hopefully beyond .... Lovely.... by the way if any of her fans have never seen it, Bleak House (a former BBC TV series) - in which Gillian has a major role, is a serious classic

still amazing for 50..i still think gillian anderson season 5-10 she was the most beautiful..but her blonde, sophisticated look now is very appealing as well..
