Question, what connector the bank does Xero use?

I believe it’s an ‘open banking’ connection in most cases. Years ago there was a 3rd party behind it but not sure that’s the case now.

Just getting started - want to set up my expense and sales codes - where do i do that?

There will be some defaults, but you can tweak them in ‘chart of accounts’

As a Patreon creator Do you know if there’s tax owed to HMRC As the site states the Patreons are taxed according to their country I have put a% away just in case Kind regards

Yes you may still pay income tax on the income, depending on your total income. They are certainly subject to tax in UK if you are UK Tax resident.
