One of the only youtube fragrance channels I'm still subscribed to. It's obvious Marcelo actually cares about the fragrances and their houses and isn't just reviewing everything for clicks and views to make money.

Love your channel! I’m new to the fragrance community and I really appreciate your reviews especially for the Italian houses. Yes, sir! Xerjoff is one of my favorite houses, if not my favorite. I recently sampled Torino 21, and I just fell in love with it that I ended up buying a bottle. 40 knots is the only fragrance that I've bought a backup bottle of.. It is that good.

My wife got me a sample of Xerjoff’s Appolonia for Christmas. I know it might lean more feminine with the white florals and white musk, but i got goosebumps when I put it on my hand beautiful fragrance. Have you had experience with Appolonia?

I've been holding off the xerjof bandwagon because I'm sure it's a slippery slope! I'm 5 bottles deep into amouage in as many months and it's dangerous. I'm sure xerjof will have a similar trajectory! Very enjoyable vidoe. Love the history and background included with the fragrances. Having said that, i have no idea where to start, they all sound so appealing!

You gotta run it like a marathon; not the 100metre sprint😎 I know that when I first discovered niche, I felt that "I had to catch them all!" in the first month 😂 Then started to pace myself. But let me say, not having a Xerjoff is like saying 'no' to dessert🙄 (that's the best part of the meal!) I'd be curious to know which Amouage's you have and what you love about them and I would love to put forward some recommendations. Myer Melbourne have a decent collection in the Libertine store so you can test out💫

I love these masterpieces. I really hope you can get your hands on Parfums de Marley one day 🙏🏿

Interesting that you haven't found a Xerjoff that hits the mark for you Luke. Curious to know if you've tried Tony Iommi? I love the Memo fragrance; these were one of my early loves in the niche field. I tried Iberian, this was way punchy for me....but I should test again. And my nephew (17 year old) owns Sicillian and he rocks this fragrance! Smells amazing on him. Not one that I have in my collection (yet) but I can see it in my future🔮😉

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I was lucky enough to be given a sample of Tommy although I seem to have misplaced it! As soon as I find it again I'll give it another try, perhaps it was too much on the sweet side for me from memory. I had high hopes for Richwood after seeing it recommended so much, however (and please forgive my crass description of such a beautiful product) all I could detect after spraying on skin was the musk stick lollies I used to have as a child. Unfortunately, living in Perth we are relatively limited in the range we can sample at local stores here. We have a small Libertine in Myer which has some of the Xerjoff range. I’m really excited to get down there and to try Renaissance based on this video as I know they have a bottle. Thankyou so much for the Memo advice, my go to winter fragrance has been TF’s Tuscan Leather for so long, watching your channel has given me the confidence to want to branch out! Would you maybe recommend Terrible Teddy over Iberian Leather for polite society? I work away in the mines up north where it is blisteringly hot and humid in the summer months, I just bought myself a bottle of Sicilian Leather which I think will perform so well up there. It just reminds me so much of my Nonna’s citronella tree with those massive lemons that I couldn’t say no. I just hope I can rock it as well as your nephew! 🥰

Marcelo, taking into account your declared love for Xerjoff perfumes, I think Sergio should invite you for a friendly chat and offer you more interviews. I think it would be an attitude that would correspond to the enthusiasm and dedication with which you relate to Sergio Momo's work.

It’s ok. Once you start smelling vintage or modern vintage like Roja - Diaghilev , Areej Le Dore. Xerjoff will become very synthetic to you. I have a full bottle of Naxos and 50ml of Alexandria 2, mini Alex 3, Torino 21…. Other skilled perfumers can make synthetic materials smell rich. Xerjoff has a way of smelling plastic like and rough / sweet at times . Naxos - a type beast, Is one of those

Had to come back to this one. Went to Libertine to try Tony and I must say it’s one of the worse (for me of course). Three hours later and it smells like the stale buzzy smell you get after an all night bender at a frat house. I wanted to like it…. I tried xCape and it is magical! I fell in love again…. …in some ways very similar to Admirabilis from La Manufacture. I hope my minister of finance to approve the extra spending as I need both!

I do love Xerjoff, art and scent profile, many I’m growing to like as my nose is adapting, but I’m still struggling with their Oud scents .Groove escape didn’t do much for me upon initial test. I will try on skin later. The 24 hasn’t hit the counter as yet but I feel the menthol will be the killer . 🙋🏻‍♀️🇦🇺❤️

Awesome to hear from you Janice and I would have to agree that Oueveture is perfect as a winter/cool evening fragrance. Not sure where you might be in the world, but Erba Gold is the perfect fragrance to suit any climate! Brilliant as a cool weather perfume but works so well in summer....the fruit notes create a Pure Magic scent cloud (just don't over spray in Summer = 2 sprays in my opinion is perfect😎) Thanks for reaching out @janiceg7661, wonderful to hear from you

I only have smelled 2 from this brand naxos i will be getting a bottle and p33 that remkned me of 1 million but better quality just dont know if i want to pay that price unless it comes on a discount site i need to get samples of others from the brand .

If you're in Northern hemisphere , then Torino 21: Incredible Citrus fragrance with a touch of mint or Via Cavour 1: Sweet chocolate gourmand style, great for all year round, but perfect for summer nights If you're in the Southern hemisphere, then I would go with Torino 22: Amber, saffron suede...incredible! 400: If you're ok with florals in your fragrance this is ambery yellow floral magic; seduction on overdrive Good Luck!!💫

It's funny because this morning both my wife and I did the same thing that you're doing here ie use perfume depending on the mood, the occasion, the weather etc and then select accordingly Torino 22 is the chameleon. I can wear this to a formal occasion (in a suit and tie) but I've also worn this as a causal t-shirt office day. When my son was borrowing it he pretty much did the same because on 2 occasions (a wedding that we were attending and then on a seperate occasion a picnic in the park day) he was wearing Torino 22...it just works. I know that everyone is in love with T21 (and yes, I echo that sentiment) but I reach for T22 more often and use it across the year, whereas T21 is a glorious summer fragrance for me Hope that helps mate👊🏽 thanks for reaching out💫

They def have a way of wanting the complete collection . "Feel the Burn" as they say . Anyone know of a Xerjoff Credit card ?? ; ) Im a CPA live in a place where the nearest perfume shop consist of just designers fragrances ( sad face ) , but I found a shop about an hour away outside of ATL that has most of the line . April 16th Im there ! Cant wait to put my nose on a lot of these. Only own one and its already my favorite .

Marcelo - I looked for you at Escence this week. Stopped into the Xerjoff boutique in Milan today and bought the Milan/Monoco exclusive “40 Noudes” (a different 40 Knots twist and very hamdsome) and the brand new Casamorati Pitti one (white bottle) - beautiful tuberose floral and I usually don’t like many florals. Passed on the Elle Anniversary one - gorgeous pink and gold flecked bottle with mother of pearl details but the fragrance was meh and fleeting.

Love.” for 3-weeks before returning to USA though. Also bought the new Casamorati that just debuted at Escense “Quattro Pizzi” a beautiful non-indolic tuberose with hints of rum and coconut.

Yep, Groove Xcape would be very comfortable in an Amouage line up.....but a bit of a surprise in a Xerjoff line up 😉 Great to hear from you @brocko9386

Most people think that the origin of perfume making it's in France because Catherine was literally the wife of Henry the second, which died in an accident. Then a bit later the civil war between the protestants and the catholics started in the mid 1500s. The sons of Henry kept passing the throne but Catherine was the one who did most of the jobs during those times.

Wow, I'm surprised that you get that from Naxos! Curious to know if you purchased it from a reputable retailer? I know that Xerjoff as a brand has really taken off worldwide and there are very legit looking fake bottles. @@TheNicheFragranceCollector thanks, yes I was surprised as well, the opening and base layer are amazing, but something in the mid notes smells synthetic to my nose. Yes I brought it from an authorized physical store.

I don't know if you slow talker but if i speed up video 2× it like i would imagine you talk 😂😂😂

The comedy is that in fact, I'm a fast talker 😬 I've realised from earlier productions that when I get excited I'm speaking way too fast, so I purposely try to slow my self down on these productions...just watch Ep #100 of Mate Talk when I'm talking about Fueguia 1833 to get the feeling of my normal pace😂 I like your suggestion of 2x speed; I just tried! Boom, thats my normal speed😎 (actually x1.75 sounds more like me 😉) Thanks for reaching out @justme19852, great to hear from you

Mate at the end of the day its a perfume only making your olfactory receptors enjoy , but to my mind you dont have to spend so much and learn so much for this experience a $70-100is what needs to be spent on this fad and not bother so much just for a perfume.😊

Yep, I hear you....but what if, it's more than just what you say?? What if it brings rich colour, texture and emotion into your life? What if it moves your soul and makes you fall in love deeper with someone that is close to you? What if it brings back deep memories of a time in your life, a place that you visited and loved or deceased loved one? Wouldn't you want this 'perfume' to be more than just a 'perfume'? I always compare it to a meal that you can buy from an multinational food chain for under $10 to a meal from your most favourite restaurant where the chef is the owner and loves what he/she does; it's going to cost you a lot more....BUT the experience has now exploded! You're now enjoying something that sets off fireworks in your brain! Your taste buds fall in love with each mouthful!! Both are satisfying hunger; but now 2 different experiences. I'm so grateful for you taking the time to share. I do love the engagement. Thank you @munishprabhakarify for jumping into the conversation💫

I love this episode! You've outdone yourself on this one, I really like how you went into the history / stories and meanings behind these perfumes. Xerjoff is a brand with a lot of winners for me. At the top of the list is Torino22, for me this one is pure magic, When I tried the sample of Between Two Trees by Floraïku I thought of Torino22 instantly, I think it's because of the shared Maté and Citrus notes. I love both fragrances but since my budget is limited I'm leaning towards Torino22, I feel it's more complex and I love the Saffron note. I dislike that Xerjoff is letting go of the Velvet collection and changing the bottles (to reduce costs?), I love how the velvet ones were unique and think this change won't go well for them. The handgesture you did at 25:07, is that the one Sandra / "your Financier" does when you can't buy something / it's over the budget? (I thought you said this at the Fueguia store) 😂
