Ricard is another drink that tastes almost like absinthe but a but sweet. It's really smooth for a from with 45% alcohol and turns to milky white colour from shameer golden colour when you pour water on it.

1. Is this Absinthe 'NON CHILL FILTERED'? As it turns cloudy. 2. Is this made in a single distillery just like single malt or is it a blended preparation? 3. Is this bottled in Italy or India? 4. What is the capacity of the Xenta bottle? 5. Is sugar mandatory to drink Absinthe? 6. Are there any artificial colour or flavour in Xenta? Waiting for your kind reply.

It made me very curious as I got to know about this liquor for the first time, but I want to know more about it like how much of this should be taken in a drinking session (since it contains far more alcohol percentage than normal whiskeys, rums etc) or can we mix water and ice straight into the glass or what if sugar is not mixed etc. Please make another video on these!

You can mix water and ice straight into the glass if you want, this is just the traditional style of drinking it. Alcohol content in 1 30 ml serving of absinthe is equal to 0.7*30 = 21 ml of alcohol, similar to 0.43*50 = 21.5 ml off alcohol in a 43% whisky or rum. So you can imagine 30ml of absinthe is equal to 50ml of whisky and drink accordingly.

Sugar is added in beer during fermentation to increase alcohol strength while sacrificing on the taste. It is added in absinthe to cut down the bitterness of wormwood. Very different functions.
