I think it's kind of perfect how well Cammuravi's Seraph pairs with the master arts and skills of Ethel's Flash Fencer. If only they nailed it the other way around, too, it would've been even more magical.

I seriously think that at this point when you're done with class guides you should make a video talking about a theoretically "best team" with the best synergy and all around classes. At least I would love that because it's not particularly easy to build one alone (that's actually decent and works)

I run Noah as Lone Exile with Resonant Flag/Unlimited sword, and Mio as a Signifer with Glittering Melody. Its the same strategy in Enel's vid on the exploit, except I only use those two talent arts and the skill Capable Hands on both of them to pull it off for one cycle. This gives party-wide invincibility for about 48 seconds, which is more than enough for buff momentum to kick in and chain attack to charge a fair amount. I like Eunie and Taion as attackers since their ouroboros offers additional support outside of healers in the other pairs. Taion has the highest base TP, so I put him on Seraph, the strongest physical class. The other 3 party members would be Ogre (with break), Soulhacker (with Smash), and another Signifer or Healer. Hero would be either Melia or Ashera. Not really sure which works better for it yet. This is just what i like to run, but it is really fun

The best team is basically: 1. Have 2 Signifers, one with power charge, and have them constantly swap power charges. Well technically one of them doesn't have to be a Signifer. Just need to have Aureole and Resonant Flag. 2. Use an Ogre for break 3. A tank with topple and launch, specifically Zephyr or Lone Exile. Avoid all the other tanks 4. Use an attacker of your choice, and make them buff as hell 5. Probably a secondary tank or attacker that can also topple and/or launch 6. Ashera

I'm normally pretty hard on classes or abilities that require you to be on low hp as in my opinion they either need a massive payoff like Azami or be relatively easy to meet the needed threshold, but I actually like Seraph a lot. 85% hp is pretty generous and getting awakening at really low health is a nice bonus. It definitely could have been a lot worse with its activation conditions.

One of my favorite cutscenes that no one talks about is his ferronis coming towards the camera, weapon drawn, viewed from inside the kevesi ferronis. It's just so scary yet cool

You can see it in the Seraph's darkened, tired eyes, this man is awakened 24/7.

Give the Seraph outfit to Sena so she can be EVEN MORE ON FIRE

@@haisex3 most of Herald's power comes from her absolutely phenomenal level 1 special, being a gigantic 16 hits that all benefit from her +200% damage. Combined with the chain attack multiplier, you could kill basically every non challenge mode boss with just a single use of her level 1. Challenge mode enemies are just a little too beefy for single round chain attacks to be super useful, and Herald's other specials are rather lacking compared to her level 1. She tends to just get one shot in challenge mode because she takes increased damage at max affinity to the point where blades with literally 0% defense are more likely to survive a given attack. This combined with there being some absolutely insane blades in the dlc who can pump out more damage than Herald can while also not having the defenses of tissue paper, and just in general offering more to a team composition than the big damage Herald provides. She's still a great blade, just outclassed in certain areas, especially when it comes to challenge mode. If you need an ether cannon, KOS-MOS does literally everything, and if you need big chain attack damage Elma is unrivaled in that department. Herald being so fragile and not having particularly good specials besides her level 1 are the biggest reasons for why she's not considered to be the greatest blade. Again, she's not bad, but there are better options.

I always make sure to make the enemies feel extra heat which is why I equip the arts Inferno Dance + Energy Grenade for Great Continuous Blaze combo 📛 also Addon Hellfire Amulet Accessorie for 300% Blaze 🔥 Damage for Scorching Bonus DMG thats just me.

Did the same lol, add the gems to increase debuff potency and duration for even more burn. Unfortunately Energy Grenade doesn't scale with anything but base Attack, but getting Blaze late into a chain attack for like a million burn damage per second is really funny.

I think the topple is really good when paired as a fusion art with Soaring Tempest, its great utility for getting high Launch timer smashes and 2 in 1s for chain attacks focusing smashes, its the only class that can currently do this

Love the video! Maybe in the future could you add options for when controlled by AI, such as which gem instead of empowered combo or on zephyr for example an item to run other than chaotic memory

You proceed to say you're lazy, yet you pump out guides almost every single day.

I think it's worth noting how this class can act as the best AI defender in the game. When equipped with a Shield Belt, the Advanced Cooldown field art, Quick draw for an evasion art, and Brimming Spirit for extra aggro, this class can generate more aggro than most defenders. And it has four sources of damage reduction, which basically means it's almost never taking much damage from anything. And since it's an attacker class, the rest of your team can use Protector's Pride or Fraternal Badge for extra recharge speed

Like what you did w the thumbnail and this hero quest was my second favorite out of all of them

Now that I beat the game I can watch these now. LETS GOOO!!!!!

Blaze is surprisingly strong. When it works. 300-400k Blaze ticks with Debuff time + can really dent enemy HP

I feel its important to point out that you can link the launch master art to crimson lance and you will topple and launch in the same hit

I love this perspective on Seraph. Personally I find that focusing on Bleed makes for a much stronger chain attack, but this seems to do more overall. For my build I swap out covert attack for Sappy Sappy (pretty much the only way you're gonna proc blaze on superbosses), Aggro reduction gem for Debuff strength, and one of your accessories for 300% bleed damage. With that setup it's very possible to have bleeds tick for well over 300k (with the occasional 100k tick from blaze adding in as well). Since I'm still in the process of maxing gems (which your guides have been SUPER helpful for

The blaze damage is one of the best uses for Segiri to me, one that hits she can extend the debuff timer so that the enemy suffers for even longer while you attack it for great damage, and she also helps with getting Amazings

flamelord master arts is basically a must have for your controlled attacker (unironically perfect for ethel's fatal fencer class for example or for martial artist) on a tank-less set up where you want aggro for yourself. With all suuportive arts like field recharge from your healers and coupled with another front positioning class art on your controlled attacker, aggro and health is not an issue and it charges your talent art incredibly fast (martial artist's master talent art is perfect for this set-up due to high damage and recharge rate of only 2).

Really surprised that Monolith crossovered with Fire Mario for this hero. Honestly one of the biggest twists of the game.

this might be the first game where i actually enjoy post game grinding. Setting up different builds and grinding out CP points is so fun. Will have to level up a Seraph and try this one out.

Seraph having the topple+launch combo with crimson lance+soaring tempest is pretty cool too

I like the Parallels between Ethel and Cammurabi. Ethel has the class that benefits the most for killing Low tier enemies quickly meanwhile Cammurabi has the ultimate Glass Cannon class. No wonders they were fierce rivals...

I really like the topple + launch in one action in chain attacks if you've got a smash-heavy setup

very good video, this is a super strong class, I just wanted to know one thing, those accessories that you have, what does the star they have mean? I already finished the game and I'm leveling up the classes and I haven't seen any accessories with stars anywhere yet. Thanks in advance

I use an accessory that boost damage to launched enemy in place of Thermo Haedgear. It also works great on chain attacks. Since you don't do a lot of hits during those, I prefer a reliable boost rather than depend on a 42% chance. It still do a lot of damage ! Accessory boosting Fusion Arts also provides some utility. It's a lesser boost, but it's more usable outside of chain attacks as well. Pick whichever you like more.

Seriously, with how good the Ultimate Qigong skill is, I really hope one of the DLC heroes has a similar Master Skill for lowering Ether Defense. It'd make the ether based DPS classes hit so much harder, and it honestly feels like it should've been there in the first place.

I think the logic was that most enemies have higher Physical defenses than Ether defenses...

The only 2 issues I had with the class is one healers may end up healing you which you don’t want. And AOE attacks, find myself getting killed a lot from those using this class. But high risk, high reward

The Greatest Warrior skill..... definitely helps bring the damage when fighting the King-Kings.

Putting flamelord amd quickdraw on the same fusion are is my favourite trick. Just spamming talent arts pike there is no tomorrow

In my game the description of the Warped White Brooch is different. It says: When landing a hit, deals damage as though enemy¡s physical defense was 30% lower.

This is probably my favorite class in the game along with incursor, FMJ, and Soulhacker.

I really like run Crimson Lance because you can fusion it with the Launch from Ashera, I don't remember if another Agnus class have access to that combination but I have had good results and also access to Smash from Ethel in the Talent Art can give you a very big combo DMG

Break/topple can be done with Incursor (Shield bash master art from Zeon), or Swordfighter and Yumsmith (Crimson Lance master art from Camuravi). Topple/Launch or Topple/Daze can only be done by Seraph (Soaring Tempest master art from Ashera or Myopic screen master art from Eunie, respectively) as you have partially said. Launch/Smash can only be done by Lone Exile (Mighty Beat master art from Monica) or Noah drawing Unlimited Sword. Daze/Burst can only be done by Medic Gunner (Way home master art from Myabi). Martial artist also have Daze, but that's an Agnus class, and there's no Keves class with Burst master art. I think that's about covered all the fusion reaction combos. Unfortunately, Smash/Break and/or Burst/Break do not work as far as I've tested.

I think a good video idea would be "which classes to level up/spend silver coins on" for unlocking certain master skills and arts (Thaumaturge/Flash Fencer/ Yumsmith for Ogre etc.).

i personally forego covert attack for eye for weak points usually and run fiber wraps over thermo headgear, it nets me some absurd damage in chain attacks, love spamming this + soulhacker and/or full metal jaguar for some nutty damage, easily my favourite class

Finally a glass cannon I don't mind using.

Genuine question, how many hours do you have in the game and are you tired of the game yet? I'm a huge fan of the xbc series, but after 280 hours and 100% (except for the gogol vagua collectopaedia card) I think I'm xeno'd out for a bit. Either way, I enjoy your stuff, and look forward to your videos! Especially for challenge mode.

Something that would work great for this class or other attacker classes is a soulhacker ally with the combo of battle pheromone and desperate charge. You get attack up, critical rate and damage up and fast recharge in one fusion. This could help classes both hit more crits and deal more damage with crits plus attack up is nice for some damage and fast recharge always helps.

Add Dragon Decree onto that and Butterfly Dust, and you have yourself the Buffer Soulhacker, the strongest team support build in the game

Hey Enel, do you think Troubador+Signifier is viable against superbosses when not actively controlling either of them? Even when I play the tank myself, namely Mio Zephyr, I can barely stay alive even against auto attacks due to both of them lacking noteworthy healing.. Usually try to start as Signifier to get a few buffs up and then switch to Mio but she dies before I even switch to her since the only healing comes from regen ring and Keves art healing.

not sure what the fire mario jokes are about, but i do think something other than his weapon would've worked better as a non-spoiler thumbnail. it's not the biggest deal in the world, but eh for miyabi, you don't see her weapon before you meet her in the story, but cammuravi's spear is very easily recognizable (even from just pre release footage). idk what would make for a better alternative image though... (the guide itself is great tho, thanks for making these!)

That isn’t much of a class. It’s like Pneuma from 2. Can’t be viewed in menu, but usable in battle.

FYI, not immune to Blaze, just crazy resistant. Unless he gains immunity at higher levels.

Do you think infinite blade is any good and do you use it with any attacker class on noah? Is it good only if coupled with capable hands?

@Enel Hi, you may recognize me from the Gamefaqs forums as the person who made the thread about Incursors in your videos. What I want to ask you (outside of that environment) is why you rate Incursor higher than Seraph, since they are both focused around damage and seemingly only damage. It seems to be that Seraph does damage much faster than Incursor, which needs to "come online" first by landing 50 or so hits to hit the cap on +damage and +crit. I know 50 hits isn't hard to do, but it's still a chunk of time and effort. Also, I guess I'd like to know if Incursor can rival the damage of Seraph, given an optimal build on each. What I've noticed is that Incursor gets severely punished for fainting, while Seraph can basically get revived and be back at full strength immediately. I'm sure that must count for something. However, I have the sneaking suspicion that a fully "online" Incursor (sorry, that's just my word for an Incursor that has all its self-buffs maxed out) can deal just as much damage as Seraph -- especially during a Launch. Perhaps Seraph deals more on a critical hit, but Incursor can hit 100% critical hit. Anyway, if you would shed some light on what motivates you to rate Incursor higher than Seraph, I'd appreciate it. You are spitting facts. Melia with the veneris ring is the easiest way to get amazing every round. Also combos well with soul hacker due to ether reduction and giving power charge is meh because signifier exists.

I ran challenger gauntlet with this class, logic being: I'll die anyway, so lets just kill stuff quicker. It was an intresting experience.

My only issue with this class is that if you have healers the effects of some of the attack boosts are nullified by AOE heals

How does bleed work. The main case scenarios I'm wondering about is: If you crit with the attack that does bleed is all the bleed damage based on the crit damage? Does bleed have a set number or can bleed crit a couple of times? If the bleed is on the left talent bar when you do a fusion attack does it add damage from both attacks? Does it also base the bleed damage on both attacks if the attack is on the right of the fusion attacks? (I know that right one starts first and I can't tell when I'm running Flash fencer if it's doing a lot of bleed damage or not.) Also, what's the difference between blade and bleed?

The question wasn't whether or not he would come back, the question was how. Honestly, I like the way they did it, despite it not being much of a surprise when it did happen.
