On latest canary achievements are disabled on default. Enable with: show_achievement_notification = true

I monke: in config, the option is already there, you only have to change the value. But it's disabled on latest canary on default.

@@sowa_9543 yes you are right, I already found it using the search feature in notepad, mine was enabled by default and everytime I unlocked one it was stcuk on my screen and my inputs ignored

Thank you for letting us know, in the last one they're enabled by default but everytime I get them in Red Dead I go from a stable 60 to a freaking 20-30fps.

I hope to get a server to register achievements on the emulator someday, just like RetroAchievements does

Maybe one day. But I doubt it's going to be server side, probably just stored locally in a separate file, or baked into profile (if it ever happens). We will see.

I noticed that too, but only when forcing vsync with nvidia control panel.

Not yet, but it's in the works. From what I heard, summer 2024 (if everything goes smooth).

Hell no, it would be so much work. But most games support all achievements. All titles from my library do, Xenia just can't store or load them. Maybe when Canary gets proper achievement support someone will do a list, for now it's kind of pointless.

Ah that makes sense, pretty cool how the achievements work in that case. Also if you don't mind me asking, are you on the xenia dev team? If not I'm curious how the community provides such updates.

I'm not a dev. But it's an open source project, anyone can contribute. Master branch is more strict, but in Canary updates are pushed way more often. For example, you can make a new update, then it gets reviewed by Xenia team - if it's good it will be released. Master: github.com/xenia-project Canary: github.com/xenia-canary Discord: discord.gg/Q9mxZf9 As for achievements, I think every game has them built in. Xenia is simply reading them and pops up a notification when the conditions for particular achievement are met. The problem is, currently there is no way to save your achievement progress. Meaning they will pop up every time you play, as if you never got them. Gliniak is working on profiles, maybe one day achievements will be able to save, in current state it's just a novelty.

They don't, it can't store or load achievements yet. But Gliniak is working on profiles, including achievements, so it will be available in the future.

@@sowa_9543 I hope maybe that includes a dashboard like you can setup optionally as ive done myself with Xemu, I actually just registered my emulator with the insignia OG xbox live project ! Always been on original xbox. Just now built a nice PC for 360 emulation. Loving the Xenia community !

I don't think anyone works on dashboard right now. But maybe it will be done one day, we will see. Some older builds can run certain dashboards, but not very good, and those builds are pretty old too. github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/wiki/Dashboard

There is no sound, you have to do it yourself. At the end of the video there is an instruction. You can pick whatever audio file you want, but it has to be in .wav format.

Why would you backwards play gta V when you can just get a modern day version the suckiest version would be Xbox 360 and ps3
