This show was so crazy, one episode will be hilarious and silly, and the next will be insanely depressing and sadistic. It’s an adult show for sure but kids were watching it, including me

I'd say the show is PG-13 ish. Some episodes and scenes aren't suited for kids but ok for young and older teens.

I love how they have the sound effects for fighting when she’s just cutting her cloths. Lol

@@marvantony9655 Hey there! I watched Xena on Netflix Canada when I was a kid, but other than that I'm not 100% sure where you can find it. I heard a rumor that some of the seasons were on Amazon Prime Videos, though I'd also check Itunes. :D

@@makkonen0 me too lol. She said when she got the part of Xena because it was an American show, they made her do an American accent. Even sent her to speech lessons but once in awhile you can hear the kiwi in her come out. Her husband is creater and producer of Hercules and Xena rob tapert. He also did evil dead. Ashe vs. the evil dead where Lucy played Ruby, and Spartacus where Lucy played Lucretia

I love this scene where she gave that woman advice about sticking up for herself. It was so heartwarming!

This show means everything to me. Sure, some scenes are totally crazy and we don't wanna talk about the 5th season, but the fact that this show is making fun of itself, never taking itself too seriously (well, except the parts were it is supposed to be serious). This show is gold and gave some good advice in a lot of episodes. I recommend watching it, even though it's quite old by now.

Xena is the real Wonder Woman and a true Amazon 👏 miss this show, I was such a fan as a kid

Season 3 had some funny episodes too like The Hestia virgins scene was hilarious Joxer and his Brother and Jace i think and Autolycus king of thieves helping Xena find a Statue etc

Good ol' Lucy Lawless... I had the biggest crush on her when I was a kid.

@@1Nanalo Well I live 30 minutes From Texas in southwest Louisiana and that don't sound like any Texas accent I've heard. Don't get me started on how bad Hollywood does Cajun accents.

Personally I loved this episode, even if it was less action packed as usual. Then again Salmoneus cracks me up, so I love all of his appearances. Also Lucy looked amazing in her contestant outfit.

Oh, the irony of Lucy Lawless playing a fake blonde when she's a blonde in real life and playing a fake brunette who's playing a fake blonde.

I was OBSESSED with Xena! I used to record this on my VHS without the commercials! And rewatch over and over again. And went to the Xena conventions and met everyone except for Rene O' Connor. Oh, the nostalgia!😩

some of the finest acting i've ever seen so far

To my surprise, this is in HD, when the show has always been presented in standard definition. Like many shows, Xena was shot on film, but was presented in reduced quality for broadcast TV. And as far as I know, every presentation and form of release of XENA since then has been the downgraded SD/broadcast version. Does the HD upload of this clip mean that we're getting a remastered, film-quality re-release of the series?
