Got the bigger 604 in my stack ..even with stock tubes is pretty awesome. Yes, it needs a volume knob before it gets to the amp because if the insane gain ..but that was an easy “fix” . Then I use the two independent L /R knobs as absolute balance. Everything is in balanced mode on my setup. Great review 🍻

Thanks for a really interesting review. I've had one of these little amps for about a year now. Can't recommend it highly enough don't know how they can make them at this price. Makes a great pre amp for my ifi zen dac.

I've been considering putting a tube preamp between my dac and my solid state amplifier. Would this preamp work in that situation or do you recommend something else?

Good stuff man! I'm upgrading to this from my FX Audio X6. The X6 is also a DAC so I'm using them together. Hopefully they make a good pairing. I don't know if I'll get into tube rolling immediately but do you have recommendations for whenever I do?

Connect the Abigail to your phone or oc with the USB C end of the Abigail, then 3.5mm headphone out on the Abigail to a 3.5mm to left/right rca adapter cable, plug the rca cable into the "input" plugs on the amplifier.
