Yea, the same for me. I really want to enjoy their title tracks, but I vibe more with their b-sides. Especially the Test Me album. It’s a chef’s kiss for me ^^

I have been a villian aka fan of Xdinary Heros since happy deathday, and I fell for them as their music is just so unique and different from what I have ever heard before in the entire music industry. My bias is Jooyeon (the bassist) and only recently after watching their variety show XHs rock the world ( you should react to it) I now have a bias wrecker Gun-Il. This group is my 3rd ult group in the entire kpop industry and I love them

the guy's name u liked is Jooyeon! he is a bassist and he is my bias, his vocals are another level. I recommend Tomboy and Hellevator covers and Pirates! And Strawberry cake live. Seriously, Jooyeon and Jungsu slayed this song.

You have to listen to their b-sides from both their albums. They are insanely good. They have live clips on all songs from their first album and yesterday they dropped performance video for X-mas which is fiiiire too) I love each of their song. They are the most talented people for me. They write all their music and lyrics by themselves. Kings. My ults and they do my style of music)

I wish you could react to their b-sides and covers because you're missing out hahaha They have live performances on their channel :) If you react to their cover of Hellevator, please pay attention to the drums because Gunil is killing it!

I LOVE XH! They're my ult band so I'm glad that you're checking them out. The one you keep pointing out is Jooyeon. He's the bassist and maknae of the band. Also the rest of the songs on their albums are DEFINITELY worth the listen. They usually have MVs or band performances for all of their songs but the new album is still too new for all of them to be uploaded yet. I also recommend their cover of Hellevator! I about died when that came out, SKZ being my ult kpop group and XH being my ult band 🤗

And DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK OUT CHAN'S REACTION TO "HELLAVATOR"!!! I am only a baby Stay, so not sure of the "history", but what I watched was classic (Chan's reaction I mean. It's all on YT.). There is some meaning behind that song... I watched the SKZ video, and then the XH video and it became much more clearer!!! And dug a bit more, read comments, etc. ... Daaaaayyyyuuuummmm.... XH did an "exdinary" job with the Hellavator cover!!! Hope you'll check it out, I think you'll find it interesting... please have some fun with XH!!! 😁

I recommend doing some of their covers. Start off with impossible and drown since they just debuted when they sang those. And then tomboy gidle hellevator stray kids zombie day6 and love me right exo. These ones were all amazing. I just think you can see them play live and they really change the songs up so well. By themselves too.

the lyrics to haircut made a lot more sense to me after someone told me it was about depression haha like how we struggle to take care of ourselves when it gets bad. the album with test me and strawberry cake is definitely my fav and has no skips. their live recording of knock down is my all time favorite tho so if you have time check it out!!

I love XH!! Their live performance of Strawberry Cake is way better than studio/mv version!

i highly recommend checking out the b sides from both of their mini-albums "hello, world" and "overload" as well as their covers (hellevator, tomboy and impossible are my favorites)

The b-sides are really what gets you. Me personally, even though I love their title tracks, they are def my least favorite parts of their discography. I feel the titles are meant to be unique and get attention and their side tracks are the main thing that makes people stan. I really hope you give their b-sides a chance.

i've been a fan since debut and duuuuude their bsides are so good !!! ghost is my current fav of the latest album they've done multiple covers of both kpop and non kpop artists (i looove hellevator and drown) also, 16:55 this is jooyeon, bassist and one of the main vocals ;)

Sleep talking is my favourite from overload

I love Happy Death Day when it comes up in my playlists but I don’t go looking for it. I actively go looking for every other song they have. Test me and Haircut took a couple of listens but they grew on me very quickly. I adore their b-sides and their covers are amazing. Onewe is my forever, carved in stone ult group but XH has carved out their own spot in my heart. I’m really excited to see how they grow and improve in the future. I highly recommend checking out their b-sides and their covers. Tomboy, Drown, Impossible, Love Me Right and Hellevator are my favourite covers they’ve done.

I think if your only problem is the weird choruses I'd definitely check out the b-sides. But yeah they are definitely going for more of a hard rock vibe than most k-bands I've seen which i personally love considering my fav non kpop artist is Måneskin

i love xdinary heroes !! it's not for everyone but i personally love their really out of the box alternative style. i HIGHLY recommend their covers of "impossible" "drown" "hellevator" and "tomboy" !!

I've been an XH since day one. Check out all their covers and lives. Their lives are always so much better.

Not me being genuinely surprised you didn't react to them yet. Hope you enjoy them. For me personally I tend to love their songs more after listening to them multiple times. They're so skilled, especially for them being so young.

While I am a fan of their tt’s and the groups unique sound, I think their tt’s are too different that it puts people who aren’t fans off of them. Sometimes I even wish a b-side was the title track bc they’d seem more appropriate as so. I still love everything they’ve put out so far tho! I hope you continue to support them!!

talent wise, these guys are insanity and obv their concept probably isnt for everyone but i can assure you anyone will find at least one faves from their entire discography, and i do agree that the test me/hello world era is easier to listen but i still enjoy all of their songs, espc x-mas (latest comeback bside) around this time lol

I feel like their bsides are way more easier to listen to for non-fans (Their Hello-World Album is just so good, I'd say one of the best albums released this year) With their title tracks, they always have this concept that they follow which is good because it distinguishes them from other groups but I can understand that not a lot of people can like it. Tbh, Happy death day took me a few listens but I love it now. While Test me was so much easier for me to listen to. With the recent comeback haircut it took me more listens before I ended up liking it, way more than HDD actually but I love the rest of the songs on the recent album. I especially love Ghost and Xmas. Xdinary Heroes is a band that is better when you watch them live tho. Like they're super good live and very talented. Even though there were some of my online friends who didn't like their title tracks but they liked their voices so I made them listen to their bsides and watch some of their live stages and covers and now they're a fan lmao.

Like most of the other comments, you must listen the the b sides. Especially on the overload album they are fantastic. And any cover they do will blow you out of the water impossible, hellavator, Tomboy

i will say though, as someone who will pretty much listen to anything any kband puts out, where xdinary heroes shine the most is in their bsides and live performances. the albums they released this year contain some of my favourite bsides released by any artist ever, namely pirates, ghost and crack in the mirror.

I saw a bunch of people literally throwing straight up hate on haircut like.. i respect if you don’t like a song but at least don’t be rude you were very respectful about ur opinions so thank you personally, after a few listens i fell inlove w all their songs

I've actually listened to HDD a little more since I uploaded this and it's already way better for me so I can imagine that Hair Cut might get there one day! No one can deny that there are good things to look forward to for them though, that's for sure!! ❤️✊

I love almost all their bsides more then their titles so I completely get you, I would definitely recommend listening to those and to their covers (Hellavator, tomboy, and drown being my favourites). The bassist (the one with the long hair) name is Jooyeon! He and Jungsu (the left keyboardist) are the main vocalists! Thanks for checking them out even if all of their songs may not be your go to haha the titles definitely do grow on you though

Strawberry Cake is still one of my absolutely favorite songs by them. Like, it just tickles my brain in the most satisfying way.

On most of Xdinary's titles, they struck me as odd, so it took me a few listens to grasp what I was hearing. I'm a fan though. I love their vibe!

They tease their comebacks at the end. Like: glitching in "Happy death day", laughter and cut sounds in "Test me" and thorns in "hair cut". Right at the end during end credit.

Hi and thanks so much for the reaction to Xdinary Heroes. I've been looking forward to this day! And I'm a little sorry they didn't hook you) This band is not about title songs, unfortunately. Their b-sides and covers are where all the flavor and masterpieces are. The guys take part in the songwriting, they bend their line, they have their own style, not usual for Korean bands and it's cool! They have a concept, a plot, which is quite easy to read if you get into the lyrics and the plot of the music videos. For example, their last album has a whole story from the first to the last track. The development of the plot and their main idea: Are you a hero or a villain?

strawberry cake hands down my fav song of them. i think you need to check out their live performances and their bside because they're really great!!

I feel the same, when I heard for 1st time HDD and Hair cut I feel confused, but when I hear the 2nd time I fall in love bc both of them have complex structure, whatever I love all tracks of Xdinary Heroes

Happy Death Day and Test Me are my two least favorite songs. I think people go in expecting a rock band and then are confused or disappointed when they don't get it. They can go pretty hard (see Hellevator cover) but in general the company doesn't really allow them to fully expand on the rock. I really hope you react to their Hello World b-sides (Knock Down, Sucker Punch, and Pirates), all of which have live performance videos on the Xdinary Heroes KZread channel. They also just released a band performance video for the Overload b-side X-mas. Can't wait to see you react to them again!!! ❤

I think that most of the fans prefer the b-side because the title tracks are more noisy like the style that is now "popular" on k-pop,(I think maybe they are trying to capt the attention of the main public in k-pop doing that popular style) I feel like the b-side is more like the style of the band :D (Sorry for any mistake English is not my first language)

Xdinary Heroes are kings of anti-drops. I think that’s what people aren’t sure about when it comes to them but I love it.

I like their title tracks but I love listening more on their b-sides. I highly suggest 'X-Mas'. It's their bside in latest album

I’m a villain (xdinary heroes fan) and my first reactions for their songs are exactly same like you! HDD was not the genre I expected to like but overtime the tralala stuck in my head and then I watch their covers and fell in love with their vocals and decided to be a fan. then with Test Me, I liked it on first listen too. also the whole album are bops (recommended to listen). then with Haircut I also wasnt sure about the chorus at first esp with the lyrics “get a haircut” but I really love the postchorus and other parts. eventually I love the song after 2nd listen tho. also again, the whole album is a must listen. anyway thanks for reacting to them!

HDD was the debut that kbands need, I never liked mainstream kbands cos they are too soft rock for me and I need noise and more effect in the rock and Xdinary Heroes gives me that. Not you get in off our first unofficial fandom name "tralala lovers" when we didn't have a name. Now the official fandom name is Villains

I can’t tell you how much I freakin love xdinary heroes😩😩 not only are they talented and produce bops (I’m being Fr I’ve loved all their songs that they have made besides pirates but still) but they are just so lovable like every reacted who has gotten into xdinary heroes has said that they staned them so fast. I just love them so much and I can’t wait for more. Edit: yeah I felt the same about happy death day but the pre chorus was so good that it made the rest of the song good. I also felt the same about haircut😅 but the more I listened to it the more I’ve came to love it. I’m happy that they’ve won 2 MAMA awards including rookie awards together with IVE. I really love their first album. You should check out their cover performances. yeah strawberry cake is definitely a favorite. the vocals are astonishing. i remember since happy death day dropped i wasn't so sure about it but it eventually grew to me. test me is an instant bop for me. haircut... ummm i guess i need more time still

I love all their songs but, for the Hello, world! album i like the bsides more live than the studio version.
