No game should be excluded from criticism based on its cost. However, the luxury with xdefiant is you can uninstall it and walk away feeling you haven't been ripped off.

The hit registration Is such a problem. Being killed behind corners or by people aiming in a completely different direction than at you but getting the kill SMH

facts, the finals comparison was perfect because its true, I want to play Arena Breakout on ps5, hope it arrives soon and has crossplay

Just having a discussion about Full priced games opposed to free to download games. Would you rather pay $60 to $130 for a quadruple game or a free to download game and have extra content, rare blueprints, etc locked behind paywalls? I guarantee you that more money would be spent on a free to download game over a fixed price game that has all content already included.

I really can’t get to grips with this game, MP5 SMG shouldn’t be losing close range to an AR this game is pissing me off

This morning after the update it played a lot better, but man it’s still not enjoyable for me. I prefer large warfare like BF and Ground War in CoD. I’m not a fan of tiny maps and 6v6. I’ll keep trying for the next week but if I’m still not enjoying it, deleted it will be.

Played a few games today and think the ttk is too quick, already come across sliding bunny hopping sweat lords and getting lasered around corners. The game needs a lot more work. Heard there are hackers already. Snipers are too OP and shotguns are terrible

The reason why XD dosnt have much content is because it is currently in its pre season stage. Mark even said himself that they have already done most if not then all of year 1 content. He said this on a video called: XDefiant: Pro Gameplay Tips , Map Guide , And Preseason Developer Insights Also comparibg XD to games like Fortnite is not a fair comparison simply because one is a BR while the other is a Arena Shooter.

Other completely free to play games have much more content. I hope this game grows but as of right now it’s terrible IMO

@@Simonb1471 just because other games are free to play does not mean that they are a fair comparison. Like I said both FN and XD are two completely different games. One is a BR with multiple different gamemodes/different games that has been out for years. The other is a Arena Shooter that is a few days old and is currently in its pre-Season stage. The game is not terrible lmao. You are judging a game that is a few days old. Is the game perfect? No , no game is. Give the game enough time to grow and to enter its first season then judge if its terrible or not.

Another ubi game that put's me to sleep

Xdef is just ok. Movement feels strange and floaty. Still messing about with controls to try get it to feel right, but still feels not right, probably me. With the mass of micro transactions it’s going to be a pay to win, I suppose if it’s free, it’s to be expected. I won’t uninstall just yet 😁

Let’s be real we know they add stuff over time aint this game in pre season? Cod drops barebones every year.

X defiant is just a boring game. You play it a few times and after the initial hype wears off there’s nothing to make you want to come back to the game. The game seems to have no life behind it. It just feels very empty and meaningless.

Any new ip should be free

Absolutely not, the f2p model is not viable for every genre and also, imo, promotes monetization first game design, resulting in the actual enjoyability of the game tanking. I want to pay my $20-$60 and not spend a dime more on the game because if I'm expected to continually spend more, the mechanics are usually built around coercing you to so so.

It is free to play if a developer decides to put a battle pass then it is up to the company and your choice to buy it or not . Some skins have been going free while in beta mode which i received while playing it. Warzone also has the option but with if you do buy the weapons and colour skins you will benefit from buying giving you the edge Xdefient does not give you that but the skins and costumes . If i built a free game to play , i would also put a pass in the game but not to advantage players , but to have nicer skins to choose from . So when you decide to develop a game that would be your choice . Having a opinion over a developers game is exactly that a opinion . It is made to so you can enjoy with fun and with some skins for your weapons or costumes to buy . Dictating a developers ip game is to take over the ip , Show them the money for you to buy it to make the choices you want to implement or go make a game on your ideas.

Xdefiant has no variety in gunplay you're forced to play one style there is no point using any other weapon but the sniper rifle.

The finals is not better. THAT is a boring game but has cool destruction and that’s about it.

The whole games just looks cheap

Maybe mark rubin has his arms tied behind his back in terms of what he wants for xdefiant because we all know ubisoft is a scummy company
