90% of Call of Duty player base have a 1 k/d or below. You don’t know that cuz of SBMM ruining your lobbies. The idea that no casuals play is false. Xdefiant needs casuals to flood the game to get that 2010 COD feel back or else, yes, it will die.

I honestly feel 4 some reason it lacks its own identity 😐, i think they tried 2 do something about that in a roundabout way, with the characters they chose from the Ubisoft catalogue of games, but it lacks "punch"👊, & in the future a "hook" 🎣 2 keep bringing u back. The maps r kind 👀 2 the eye & on the whole play well. It'll definitely b a interesting time ⌛ 2 see how they address people's concerns, and if other teams need 2 take note 📝 !

Xdefiant is 90% ximmer bunnyhoppers with aimbot scripts.

I kinda liked the game, that mode that you have to scort the robot is pretty fun, but the game need some serious netcode improovements, countless times dying behind cover or shots not registering properly

I wish the gameplay was smoother. I like the map designs and the operators and their skins are all cool, but the gameplay mechanics itself needs some tweaking. Faster, smoother gameplay. The ADS is a little sloppy also. Just a fair criticism.

@@bjarnis I have not tried either of those options yet. Thanks for the input. I will try those as soon as I am back home today. I turned up my sprint speed and ADS/ADS Scope, and of course Vertical & Horizontal. It helped a lot. XDefiant is a solid game, it’s just a little rough around the edges byway of smooth movement, IMHO. I also had to adjust the zoom point on the game. I have gotten so used to COD that it seemed as if the mini map and the enemies, on XDefiant, were way far away. I could barely see them and by the time that I did I was already dead. The aim assist is definitely not as strong on X as it is in MW3, which is not necessarily a bad thing. All in all it’s a good game. With a little time and some TLC it has the potential to become even better.

Each to their own i am currently enjoying xdefiant that is one cool thing about gaming everyone is entitled to their views

Trouble with modern games, I haven't even downloaded it to try it for fear of being let down YET AGAIN. Tired of wasting time and while the game might be good, just become so desensitized to getting excited for a new game.

I bought a whole PS5 for it and ngl... it is definitely disappointing. Not saying it's complete trash, but definitely disappointing...

I can't stand the movements like bunny hopping and booty sliding in modern shooters/gaming. It annoys me....i have download Xdef a week ago but i still haven't played it because of that! And i probably will delete it in a weeks time without touching it.

I’m enjoying the game I jump on for a few hours, fave fun without feeling like I’m playing a cod tournament every game. Have a beer enjoy the game for what it is. Arcade shooter

The one thing I don't like is the snipers. Playing against a team of 3 snipers is a bit silly. The damage below the head shouldn't be a 1 shot kill imo.

Upper chest is fine but not everywhere but limbs. However if you've used a sniper the flinch is non existent as well so makes it even easier to hit those shots which needs changed so you get flinched more

Those are fast ttks when you factor in rpm, and all besides ones specified are just body shots not taking into consideration headshots. M16 is a 2 burst (300m) AK is 5 (43m) M4 is 6 (38m) ACR is 5 (33m) MP5 is 6 (16m) Vector is 6 (13m) MP7 6 (17m) P90 is 6 (18m) MK 20 is 2 (300m upper body) DB is 1 (10m) M870 is 1 (10m) M44 is 1 (300m upper body) Tac 50 is 1 (300m) These are for 100hp, so obviously, a phantom may take 1/2 more shots depending on weapon.

The game is awesome, other than the net code problem, I'm enjoying the game. I just moved into a new movement tier, and it's as sweaty as COD, but better. If you're still playing COD, and you're not buying skin's, your food. I love going off, and not being punished for the next 20 games.

The game was aimed at people tired Cod. Im one of them. Im fairly decent at Cod, and i love this game. The ranked beta is sweaty and i love it. But if i play public i can tell theres no sbmm. Love the feel of this game. It does need this though!! More guns and attachments Better character customization & for weapons also Make challanges able to unlock certian skins for weapons, other then basic bronze silver and gold. Make it able to hear death comms of enemys Able to talk to enemy team before and after a match. And add unique rewards for ranked players

@azizmoya1186 i hear you, but your point on the guns don't make sense. The AK is super open, mp7, acr, m4, the sniper is, most of all the guns are balanced. It's just the hit detection that needs work. It does have a longgggg way to go but if you care to research the next year of the road map it has more then cod ever releases in a year. It's going to get way better, not worse like cod usually goes.

Enjoying the game because it's new BUT getting a little bit BORED already due to HOW SLOW it is to LEVEL UP GUNS and PROGRESS THROUGH THE BATTLE PASS !! I play everyday but as a CASUAL GAMER and this game is ALREADY FEELING LIKE A GRIND just to progress your WEAPON LEVELS. SWEATS will love it as they get more attachments unlocked faster than a casual player BUT SWEATS WON'T KEEP THIS GAME ALIVE ON THEIR OWN !! The DEVELOPERS need to adjust WEAPON LEVELLING DRASTICALLY TO KEEP PEOPLE INTERESTED FOR SURE !!

I think the game would benefit by replacing the cool down for abilities with a score system. Like not getting a shield until you got 3 to 5 kills or the score equivalent. I agree about the lack of customization but we'll see how much is added overtime. Perks could help but could make certain factions more annoying than they already are. Imagine an invisible echelon with dead silence. Holy f*ck. But still a valid point. They need a TDM, FFA and a couple 1 life modes. Not having those is an L. Also HC for that community. I think weapons level up slowly because mastery camos aren't tied to challenges for example so they want you to take a long time to get them plus having access to all attachments. If they add challenges for camos that aren't as absurd as COD that could be good

Its hard to make a game pretty casual because many see gaming less as a hobby and more or a job or a job opportunity. Just what happens when theres a chance to make money people will play for that chance. Everyone always talks about TTV sweats streaming to 3 viewers but to that person it's a chance to make bank if they are lucky.

I will say that whatever issues Xdefiant has I would take it 10/10x over *being manipulated* by Call of Duty.

Everyone is here for the lack of SBMM which I love but the game needs a lot more content, simple quality of life changes and bug fixes are severely needed, there are only 2 snipers, all the attachments are the same, 6 game modes. I played for 2 days but now I've kinda ran out of new experiences within the game

For me, I want the following; -A barebones playlist (no abilities - I hate all of them and hate all PvP shooter games with abilities). -A killcam - I want to see how exactly I died -Kill/score streaks - it’s pointless doing well, I don’t feel rewarded. CoD was successful because you did well and as a reward could rain down death on the opposition. -Netcode still needs work. Too many deaths around corners. -Aim assist needs tweaking (not buffing) but it seems inconsistent when it works and doesn’t from game to game. Some games feels like aiming is like glue, others can’t get on target whatsoever. -A search and destroy type mode. Need something where it feels like something is at stake. With no killstreaks, there is zero tension in the game for me without an S&D mode. -Much faster weapon level up. Edit: Also want a very large nerf to snipers. Far too OP. Need a big mobility nerf and a massive increase in flinch whilst they’re being shot

i hate CoD i have no dog in this fight. this game sucks ass. its abit too fast pace. the ability cooldowns are far too low. especially for some of these broken skills like wall hack and invis and such. cant prone... thats weird. respawn time is litterally 1 second causing for you to often spawn die spawn die. which can be very frustrating. i thought i'd be able to quick scope, not that you cant but the sniper zoom is very slow so i guess not really. and to top it off its not even available on steam. half my friends decided to skip it on that fact alone cause no one wants to download ubisoft's shitty launcher. it'll carve out some niche in the back of the internet like warface. but this game will not be mainstream for very long.

They need to remove the whole wannabe overwatch bullshit. Fix the non functional netcode. and make balance changes. and only then, it has a chance of survival.

All i play is Helldivers 2 sandstorm and BF 2042 Portal,Nothing else Works for me,Especially not This Nonsense X Detrash

i feel like in a parallel universe right now. in xdefiant i literally get shredded every lobby with a kd of 0.4 while in mw3 i have a constant 1.5 kd and dominate most of the time. so i feel like something is off with that xdefiant
