Watanabe's court coverage in this match is just magnificent. Higashino played her match heavily yesterday match against Chris Adcock and today they directed a lot of shuttlecock away from Higashino. Both Watanabe and Higashino are going to make it very big in Mixed Doubles scene. Such a powerful combination.

Arisa is taking the XD to the next level. She played like as if she was a warrior. Good to watch.

This Japanese XD is one team to look out for! Love it! Exciting and fast. That kill shot by Higashino at 16:30, im pretty sure killed that birdie as well.

Watanabe/Higashino is a complete package. Higashino has amazing smash, Watanabe has amazing coverage. So good, still young. Can't wait to see them grow. On another note, I feel bad for Zhang Nan. He's so talented but none of his pair in MD or XD now could match his level. He must have missed his ex-gf and Fu Haifeng so bad lol.

Holy shit. Higashino hit another jump smash winner against another male, Zhang Nan after yesterday against Chris Adcock. Watanabe is so deceptive and strong in drive and smashes as well. Watanabe/Higashino owned Zhang Nan/LYH completely. Damn... Higashino's lightning speed and power are just mesmerizing. I'm an instant huge fan after yesterday match.

a great match!! and finally a fair and balanced commentator.

Higashino is gonna be the new kind of women players in XD. Fast and solid to cover the net most of the time, also have powerful smashes to finish a rally when standing in back court. XD will become a bit like MD in modern badminton.

Japan pair are excelent, perfect and amazing....

Zhang nan's dominance in XD is probably coming to an end. He's only 28, but struggling a lot with physicality wearing strapping all over the body and liyunhui's steady and predictable game isn't helping him.

Not that. Zhang Nan is good at his role as the male mixed doubles player. He was lucky to paired with the talented Zhao Yun Lei to had great results with her. Zheng SiWei is much better than Zhang Nan.
