Still missing the most important part, how does one disconnect the ribbon cable from this stupid connector without destroying the cable and the connector itself

Same Problem here. Thanks for the good Video. Unfortunately i don't have the tools to fix it. If I let the cable disconnected will I be able to start the Xbox with the controller? Hmm .. have to try

Doesn't seem to work even if the USB ports have power. I connected a controller without batteries on the front and back USB ports and it had power but the console didn't start.

so i bought this xbox series x that needed a new motherboard board & its a newer series x which is a v2 console from ( 2022 )and i got spare v1 boards which are from a ( 2020 ) seriesx ... the motherboard , daughter board, and disc drive board , i had swapped everything over but its now having an issue with booting up. it will beep and show the light and quickly turn off less than a second . i swapped the powersupplys with my original series x and this other one and my other console works fine but this one im working on still having that issue. would u think itll be the power/eject board causing the issue ?? cause those are v2 power / eject boards & the power / eject button board is also v2 , like should i replace them with 2020 boards to get it working right??

also, the other v1 boards are like new , they came out of a console that had an eject problem but the boards where tested and worked 100% ... should i also replace the nexus cable too?

If the white ribbon cable is damaged, could the Xbox be powered on without it?
