Sounds like they took back the home setting

so hypothetically speaking. if i set my friends account and home system on xbox, will i have to wait 4 months before i can switch it back to my original home system? also do the both of us need to accept it before it happens? (meaning does my friend & i have to press A on a "pop up screen" before we can share videogames, dlc, etc?) and lastly. if i were to use my friends xbox live account (use passwords & email etc) what will happen to my account if i sign in onto my friends one? (meaning i sign in onto my xbox as her. will she be auto matically signed in as me on her xbox?)

It says the other person that I game shared with has to sign in. :/

If there is a DLC, then will it have a special download thumbnail, or will it be under the games thumbnail? (Would Rise Of Iron be under a Rise Of Iron Tab, or a Destiny Tab?)

would this work if I bought another Xbox one for another room in my house and wanted to play downloaded battlefield content on the newer Xbox one only using one system at a time. would I have to move disc from console to console? and my progress would continue on both consoles? thanks for any help you can offer.

+Shawn Hilliard No. This is implemented by Xbox for this exact reason. At 1:05 of the video, I put a screenshot of the portion on Xbox.com. The instructions and the use for designating a home Xbox is explained on Xbox's official website. They wouldn't make the information publicly available and give you the instructions of how to do it own their official website if it were something they would punish you for. So don't worry at all. It's perfectly ok to do!

If you share a xbox with a family per say, but have different accounts, the game will start from the beginning and not from where the pervious user was right?

lets say I just want my brother to get my games, can I just install them and him being able to play them offline and online if I switch back to having my xbox be home xbox, or does it mean that I will have to have his account as home xbox aswell and that we only can play games online? Cause would suck when there is network problem or if xbox live is down not to be able to play my games.

So you can't share disc downloaded games? I downloaded Halo 5 on my Xbox with a disc and my brother digitally downloaded his so when I sign in on his Xbox with my profile it won't let me play it. So do I have to bring my disc to his Xbox in order to play it?

What do you do after? I used my close friends account and all that and my game is currently downloading. Do either of us make a change on the home Xbox options? you can only switch home xboxes 3 times a year. This means the person you are trying to share with has already hit the three year max. Wait til next year. (i know your comment was 3 years ago)

Any digital content purchased with be accessible by both people

if they give you there account and you have it on your Xbox but you didn't share your account will they still get the things you bought

What do I do if all the Games I Purchased from the Microsoft Store won't let me Play anymore & says that I need to put in the Disk or purchase the Game? look on my xbox i have 2 account being my first and my second account. so i used up my changes to my home xbox so currently none of my accounts are set to my home xbox so i cant share these things for a year now?

I'm soon going to get a Xbox one s I'm wondering if the Xbox home I have set on my other Xbox will transfer over when I switch?
