Thank you for posting this video it helped me out a ton and I was able to boot my xbox one x console because of your advise to keep it running for up to 10 mins to let it boot even if it was a super slow boot process. Any ways I was able to factory reset with updated firmware on a USB stick. It took me like 10 times of having to physically having to power on the unit every time it would power off during the reset flash process. I almost gave up because it failed every time while trying to use the factory reset option. I only got it to work using the offline update method which whipped the drive clean and reinstall xbox OS.. I am currently installing Halo Infinite and keeping my fingers crossed that the harddrive holds out so I can test to see if it is gonna keep working or if I am gonna have to replace it with a SSD instead. That removes the data from the cache, glad that helped solve your problem. I still have the black screen problem when I install new games, but if I leave it on for quite a while, hours, it eventually ends up booting, but it's a nightmare, I think in my case it's the hard drive. salute

UPDATE 26/01/2022 The console turned off a few times and did the same thing but for a shorter time, with a reboot or two it went back to the menu. I want to think it's the HDD but it could be the internal memory. The next time I report is because I have put another disk, in principle it is the HDD because I already showed in an analysis with the HDD Tune software that gave problems. Right now I don't have 2.5 inch HDDs. UPDATE 24/12/2021 My subscription to gamepass ultimate is finished, I have played a little bit of Halo infinite, online. Now for a while I have the console open in case I have to change the hard drive, I did a low level format using Hiren's Boot dvd tools and so far I have had no problems, I have filled the HDD again but I would like to contract gamepass ultimate again to download and delete games again like I used to do before. As long as it keeps working I won't change the disk, I haven't had the black screen again. UPDATE 21/10/2021 Today I decided to open the console, I'm a little tired of microsoft complicating things so much to remove a simple HDD, it seems that they make the console so that you break some part of it during the process. I was tired of those restarts in the troubleshooting window, it was a loop that could last many hours and this time I had no patience. I am analyzing the HDD with HD Tune and it seems that I have already found the error. HDD model: st1000lm035-1rk172 There are no bad sectors but... Interface CRC Error Count. It happened to me again 18/02/2021 The console took me to the troubleshooter center and went into a loop trying to install an update. I did everything, I put a usb in to install the firmware from the USB and the loop continued, then I put a USB in to force restore the console and more of the same. The next morning after having it turned off by removing the plug I decided to leave it on while I was looking at the pc and when I looked at the image after 40 minutes the system had booted. Now I'm back to the same, it may fail again at any time, I think it's the HDD. If you want to preserve your HDD deactivate the function in which the console is constantly recording video to capture the 30 seconds prior to what you have played, that screws the disk a lot because it is constantly writing data. I will continue to report since the other time I did not reset the console completely. SALUTE-

I got the trouble shooting screen yesterday an then it worked but the games were playing an then just freezing an now I'm sitting with the same problem no signal nothing watched countless videos I don't even get the black screen

It has something to do with downloading updates and then leaving it to idle then power off. It all started happening after a system update had an error screen half way through....2 resets with keep games later and had to start my 3 new ac. I am not happy with Microsoft it's very similar to apple how thay slow down there old device through updates and still do

I’ve had my Xbox for less than a week the guy who i bought it from didn’t have his console updated. I updated the console played for a couple days started getting this problem too I’ve been looking for a fix. Although this didn’t help me it might have something to do with the update.

Same thing is happening to my Xbox one, I have both consoles as well and different tv and hdmi for each system n they both work for my ps4 but not the Xbox. the controller turns on the Xbox and is connected so it’ll not to sure but to call Microsoft at this point

Well my Xbox one x's completely done the same but my Xbox controller is linked up to it no signal on the screen but this power and the Xbox so I just left the Xbox on and see what happens

@@Chris-mh1hg I have seen that before but I have also seen a box come back from that and work again don’t ever throw away your box if it has black screen of death or no hdmi it will work again eventually some day just have to keep trying and look up different ways to fix it

The only way I’ve been able to fix it is factory resetting my Xbox but keeping my games on it so give a try at your own risk

nope, I still have the problem but I don't use the console much lately, a few days ago I played skyrim but now I'm busy with other things. When I have time I will open it and try to test the disk, or is it the disk or some problem in the nand.
