This is completely false & not how this started. Phil originally told the European Commission/ CMA that they "had no incentive" to make Zenimax titles into exclusives. He then later stated that some games would be exclusive, & that they would assess on a case by case basis. He then later in an internal email to CFO Brad Smith said that ALL Zenimax games would be exclusive, which was revealed during the FTC/ CMA trial... He then changed his stance to: Xbox games will appear wherever GamePass exist Now it seems that is also no longer the case, & they're back to a case by case basis regardless of GAMEPASS. & Now we're hearing that there is apparently "No red line" & that all future games are slated for multi-plat, multi-console release, with PS5 being a target for every upcoming game. To say that Microsoft/ Phil hasn't changed the narrative several times, whether publicly or internally would be disingenuous at best & a flat out lie at worst.

@@EmmanuelGawd That is false. The EU addressed the FTC & specifically said that Microsoft's assertion of non-exclusivity had no bearing on their decision one way or the other. They in fact agreed that Microsoft did make the claim that MS had no incentive to make Zenimax titles exclusives, but that wasn't why they approved the deal. Edit: I could link you to Steven Totillo's tweets covering the entire ordeal.

If MS really is launching the next Xbox in 2026 then Sony is probably questioning rather they should release a PS5 Pro later this year. Things are shaping up for MS to launch years ahead of PS6 and will have way more games. Forza Horizon 6, COD, Elder Scrolls 6, Blade etc... could be launch games. Sony has to decide to launch PS5 Pro or refocus on PS6 for 2026.

Valve making a new game about time. I was hoping for a Left 4 Dead 3, come on Valve. They could make the game and release it on XBOX / PC.

Ive been playing Immortals of Aveum sincr it was put on gamepass and Im liking it a lot, its a throw back to more simple games but its fun!

I think it's better to skip PRO version of consoles and just launch the next generation. it's like buying a slightly more powerful console that by the time the devs start fully utilizing it, which they may not, the next gen consoles are coming out. I did that last gen and it felt like a waste of money especially since I still have those consoles and didn't have a decent way to sell them to make some money back. I don't like selling anything other than games on ebay cause I don't want to get scammed and you lose to much from fees and shipping and the people in my area like to haggle down everything until you basically give it to them for free.

Common sense right here!! Bravo!! If I were to give gamers a console buying script....only buy PRO versions. If you currently have a gen launch console, hold onto it until the PRO version of the NEXT gen console is available and trade in the older one - this could be 10+ years and thats ok. Then only buy PROs after that

I'd imagine most GTA fans won't give the slightest bit of concern about playing it in 30fps. I seriously doubt that they'll care.

Never underestimate Xbox’s ability to disappoint its fans.

Creative Assembly the ones who did Alien: Isolation right ? Man, I wish we could get an Alien: Isolation Remaster and they do an Alien: Isolation 2. Alien: Isolation was my favorite game in the Xbox One / PS4 era.

By the time next gen starts it would be 6 years of Series S/X. That is a fairly normal timeframe for a gen and the next two years are likely stacked with games. I bet a new console won't feel so unnecessary by holiday 2026.

This is one of those things we have no clue what will happen until the moment it does. Ubisoft owns the cloud streaming rights to all CoD titles for the next 10 or so years, a result of the CMA trial. While I foresee some sort of deal being made for Xbox to have it on their platform, we don’t know what that will look like.

Regulators forced MS to sell ABK cloud rights to Ubisoft. ABK games won’t be on Xbox Cloud unless MS pays Ubisoft for the streaming rights. It’s kinda crazy

Xbox Series X has 4 times more powerful CPU than the Xbox One X and twice more powerful GPU. Do I need something better for "GTA 6"? No, I don't. This + tools ready to use by developers: Mesh Shaders, FSR 3.1 (and who knows what is next. Maybe FSR 3.5 or even FSR 4 in upcoming years), Unreal Engine 5.4 (+ upcoming new versions or even UE6), VRR. So there is plenty of goods for Series X. Just can't wait for XSX to "spread wings". Becuase for now we play Xbox One X looking games at 60fps. Project SCARLETT ladies and gentelmen.

I think the Xbox strategy is brilliant here, though. They're handicapped right now because the PS5 and Sony have parody clauses for the series. S and x to have the same performance as their console handicapping. The ex's dominance over it so to get around this because it'll be a technically. New console and developers will be forced to because they don't have to sign new contracts. They're gonna release their console at least a year earlier than Sony's. Because then developers will make superior copies of their game. Because if it's the same copy backwards compat to this, it'll automatically run better and I'll make Sony look bad and make more people want to buy that console. Because it's better than anything. Sony's probably gonna put out because of their contracts. Xbox can market it saying Hey, we got around. The parity contracts our consoles better. It's absolutegenius because these contracts were brought up. People already know about it and the FTC trial. Sony admitted that they forced pretty much developers. Decide these contracts if they want to put their games on their console parody. Microsoft did this with a 360 to handicap the PS3 since it was at least a year and a 1/2 newer. And superior so that's why PS3 ports were asked. Because everyone knew how to use the 360, not the PS3 plus parity clauses. There was none in the Xbox one generation, but that was because the 1 was already weaker slightly, but barely need a difference. Plus it will allow them to also get out of this generation early. Especially since it looks like the Sony does not want to end the PS 5's lifecycle with this PlayStation pro.I don't think they're goingna move up their plans or release another council because it'll cost them money.Something that microsoft can handle

I can tell you guys one of the reasons why Immortals of Aveeum did bad. DEI and propaganda pushing. Cringe writing and dialogue. I played the game for about an hour and was having a lot of fun with it until I was forced to keep referring to my female general as "Sir" every 3 minutes. And when it wasn't even warranted. So out of pocket. I put the demo down and never played it again. And the gameplay was good.

Next gen already? This is waaaaaaay too soon. We need better games right now, not more hardware. I literally just got series last year. I ain't gonna buy a new one when i could barely afford this gen. 2 mistakes Microsoft are doing. 1: Thinking game pass is a feasible long term money maker. And 2: Next gen so soon IF true. After posting it for 2 months, I finally dumped my PS5 that was never used. I still own a PS3 and 4, which I keep for a few titles, but have found no need for a PS5 this generation. Helldiver's 2 is the only Sony game that I would want to play, but I can access this via PC. If MS releases a new console in 2026, I am in, day one.

What did PS provide? Remakes, remasters, director's cuts and 2 sequels that were glorified PS4 games. Yeah, so much better. Both PS and Xbox were "terrible" this gen. But we have to be honest here, Covid f'ed things up and push stuff back, as well as shortages. So true "next gen" games is finally ready to start to drop.

People believing that a next Gen Xbox releasing in 2026 is a good idea, are delusional. This isn't the 360 generation. Dev cycles are too long & AAA games cost too much for 3rd party devs to take advantage of new hardware capabilities to their fullest in a short 6 yr generation. If people think cross-gen is bad now, imagine a next Gen Xbox competing against the install base of the PS5/ PS5 Pro & Xbox Series S/X, with devs only able to pop out 1 or 2 games in 5-8 years. You'd essentially just be getting a very late, but more powerful midgen refresh, that plays the same games that everyone else is also playing, but better. As very little devs will put the resources behind a console without an install base compared to the PS5 & Xbox Series consoles, which combined will probably be over 100 million sold Then in a year or two what happens... they're upstaged in power by the PS6 again. This doesn't even take into account Xbox now making games for PS. Unless 2026 brings something different than the traditional console then I don't know how it'll do. I'm thinking their next device will be a handheld/ WINDOWS based device that doesn't compete directly with PS

We won't know if it's a good idea until the generation goes, rhey have the analytics and they have more information than anyone us so let's see shal we 6 years is a ok time for me.

I love xbox but moving into a new generation is a bad look. Microsoft and 3rd party titles for the most part have not pushed the console to the max. Consoles are sold at a lost anyway so what's the rush? Put out games that are high quality games that push the console and push the way we play games and the people will come. Maybe it's me idk

Halo is dead. It is doing good on Xbox but with COD coming to Game Pass well Halo dead Halo Infinite on PS5 would recover the brand there is no doubt it will be a PS5 best-seller I mean with the X-bots new focus on COD no one will play Halo
