Came here to say this it took place weeks after E-Day in a different location. In Gears 3 there is actually a poster the says "Remember Kalona" which appears to be where this takes place based on the tv in the E-Day trailer.

The best showcase we've had in almost a decade. Xbox is so back. Felt like early 360 days.

Even watching these after the fact, I'm pretty disappointed by the talk-overs this year. I can barely hear the crew over the XBox stream here.

People wish they could write dialogue like Guardians of the Galaxy. Most people just randomly name either a Marvel movie or Josh Whedon without having any clue what they're spewing.

@@Cyrribrae nothing wrong with those Critical Rolls cats in my opinion...it's just whenever there is any type of dialogue with any amount of whimsy or snark the popular criticism nowadays is to blame the MCU, when in reality I think people who make those criticisms need to watch more movies and then they'd realize that type of dialogue has found its way into action/adventure fare long long ago

Fable and Perfect Dark look fantastic! Lots of stuff here I'm excited for. I really want to be excited for South of Midnight but if you can't disable that choppy animation style I will probably end up passing on it.

I think I've figured it out. Maybe someone else has mentioned this, but in the Fable trailer, YOU are the one standing in the way of the "bad guys", which is what seemed to be that female protagonist and the washed up dude.

Right. They're doing a bit of a swerve. It's another former hero who is being referenced, possibly the big bad.
