You also skipped getting the games onto the Xbox from the usb, do I just put the usb in the Xbox and load dolphin and it’ll find the games?

When I connect my USB to my Xbox on Xenia and try add the game folder it shows me 19 games I believe few of them had code names in them and some of the hem have utest, test and when I load them up just come up as a black screen why is that happening

So, when console is in retail mode it works just as regular xbox, right? So there is no restrictions, or any cons of buying dev mode acc?

Yep! When in retail mode, it's a normal console. Dev mode is completely isolated.

You might have to put your country code before your number e.g. +1 for USA (just Google what your country code is if you dont know)

It can run emulators and homebrew made for the Xbox, it can't run PC games.

Hi ! I just bought an HDD with 60K game on it ( KINHANK 500GB with retrobat in it). Do you know guys if it's possible to get my series the developper mode and use the HDD on my xbox ? Some guys on the internet are telling me i need windows to launch it but because it's "plug and play", if the series x recognize it in developper mode i think i can launch it. What do you think ?

So those Plug and Plays are definetly made for a PC system, you can't run the emulators that come with it right on the Xbox You can use the ROMs however, back them up and make sure they're in the right file structure, see how we do setup here for context, and you can read the ROMs on emulators within dev mode (The reason they won't work is that Xbox requires UWP for homebrew apps, a format these plug and plays don't ship with as they use Executables)

So aether is honestly obsolete, use xbsx2, it's found on the dev store github in the description Durangoftp is also obsolete, you don't need to worry

what website do we put when making a dev acc?

Series S and have been running xbsx2 for a minute. I booted dev mode back up and loaded dot hack mutation which I had previously been playing and about every 50 seconds the frame rate dips to 4 and everything freezes, returns to normal, rinse and repeat. Haven't had this issue before and unsure what may have caused it. Games are loaded on an SSD. I thought maybe the SSD was having issue but I loaded up the first dot hack which is saved directly to the hard drive of the Xbox and same issue. Tried several other games, same issue. I'm at a loss. It's essentially rendering games unplayable because they'll freeze during combat.

For anyone that don't want to pay $20.. make a account under a turkey address, will work with your car still, just put ur address with no state on card menu

Anyone know why I get kicked back to the dashboard when trying ANY of these emulators? I used to have everything set up and one day nothing would launch anymore. I wiped the slate clean and re did everything. Cannot think of what tf could have changed.

Do you have the required packages? Such as visual studio extensions installed? Are you running off the correct drives / partitions as well? Such as an HDD or SDD?

@@EZOnTheEyes unless something has changed I am unsure. I've followed the steps the way I always have in the past and in running it off a 1TB usb thumb drive. Never had an issue. After using emulation on my rog ally for a bit I went back to try it a few months ago and there was an OS update. After that I keep getting kicked. If there's any other files I need please lmk. Even without the drive plugged in the emulators won't launch. It should launch even without a storage device plugged in. Again, I'm either missing something or the whole thing has drastically changed.

create a website? The xbox dev portal? You access the portal by typing the IP listed on Xbox Dev Mode into your web browser on a PC on the same internet network, this will allow you to access the Xbox Dev Portal wireless from a different computer on the network.

At 7:00, where it asks you to add an account by inserting your XB email and password, I use 2 factor authentication instead of a password. I don't have a password so I'm wondering how you can get past this step without an actual password. Many thanks.

I use an Xbox one as my main Xbox device btw, it will definetly work ya, I use it, I've just found games performance starts to get poor around the 6th generation (PS2, GC/Wii), but you can totally run games and emus up to that

Dolphin keep crashing and says error of 'Please try again, for some reason Dolphin took too long to start' Error code: 0x8027025a Restarted again, plugged off and on, reinstalled/ deleted, tru downloaded old version Dolphin, didn't work Can you make a video of fixing this error? there are many people who are having exactly same problems on reddit and still not fixed.😭 NO soultion required so far on the internet. (also found that it often occurs especially xbox one x/s)

I thought about doing this to play some ps2 games while I’m laying down and playing but I’ll think I’m gonna pass since just playing a ps emulator on pc is 1000 times quicker and easier but this is kinda cool for people who don’t have good/ ok pcs
