I don't know why but I'm feeling like I need to buy a Fire TV Stick. But I already have multiple Xbox's and a ROG Ally which can already do Cloud streaming.

I got it today - works great. Thea idea is for the wife & kids to use it, when I am at work. My Series X was looking at me strange though, when I approached the tv with that tiny fire stick...

This video is miss labeled...this is for just the firestick 4k max and firestick 4k. NOT fire tv's...yes, amazon has actual fire tv's that alot of people have been complaining that it isn't available...that should be clarified in a tutorial video.... Aside from that, those of us tuned into the emulation scene have been putting the xbox app on ANY firestick for several years now just by sideloading it, which is very simple and it works just the same... the difference now is that it's officially available on the amazon app store.

We have 35mbs, and when its just me in the house, the games still struggle. I mean its definitely getting there, but internet just isnt fast enough.

can you extract it to an apk file and upload to drive?

I've been considering doing this but I think a donlge cable for your phone is still a better decision

Does it support controller rumble?

Curious if you know anything about the possibility of setting up a wireless Bluetooth mic to be able to talk in a party with friends online while in cloud gaming through the fire stick?

Yeah, I haven’t decided if I’m gonna set this up on my Fire TV cube which is possible you just have to sign loaded on there. I’ve been doing side loading for years, but I also got the files to put the full Google play store on my fire cube as well or fire stick

Any idea of Xbox app has issue with Dolby vision TVs? The games load and I can hear them but it’s always green screen. About to move it to another tv and test but disappointment so far as its not working on my bigger gaming tv. I use Xbox cloud gaming on my steam deck but was looking for a tv solution without having to buy an Xbox as I mostly play on PS.

Have u tried turning off hdr or at least adaptive? Otherwise it tried to force hdr on an app that doesn’t have it. At least it seemed that way for me.

Thank you for the video though of this Xbox cloud streaming service on the fire stick you were the first one out here that I seen that actually did this. Thank you but I’ll probably use my Fire TV cube and just do what I used to do on my other android systems and stuff since it’s got a Wi-Fi adapter and more powerful hardware it’ll stream better why they didn’t put Game Pass on here. There’s only one reason Luna because when I set my Fire TV cube up yesterday, they were hard-core pushing Luna, which to me stupid since Microsoft working deals out with Amazon like this what they need to do is they need to bring out a special edition fire cube Xbox themed make it look like a miniseries X.

May be able to connect im not sure but if you fo input lag is probably gonna make it unplayable to at way.

You can use cloud for xbox on almost any device. Alot of devices still work alot better than the fire tv stick right now. But of course a local series x will look and play much better vs cloud.

@@xboxreforged Alright well idk if it's worth it to buy a Series X 4 years after release so I might just be stuck with PS5 until late 2026 or something. I'll also have the Nintendo Switch 2 though. I just want to maximize my game access & also my new TV I bought 2 years ago. Idk if it's worth trying out with cloud gaming but I might try it.

The biggest drawback for me, or at least I can't figure it out, is that you can't use a headset with it (I used wired by plugging it in the controller. 3 different headsets) How do you guys play with headsets?

What resolution is the streaming ? 1080p or 4k?

1gb down and 250Mbps up. Performance on the fire tv is still not as good as pc app or steam deck or ally yet. Hit and miss on games. Will be keeping an eye out and making updated videos as needed

Do you have to have an Xbox tho

Was your firestick completely updated? Heard there’s latency issues if not

Yea fully updated. Games are still hot and miss and even at its best the fire tv stick doesn’t work as well as xcloud in my pc app, steam deck or rog ally. Hopefully some more updates will handle it.

I don’t own an Xbox or any Xbox games but if I go out and buy the fire stick 4k controller and 1 month of game pass ultimate I can play all the games for free or do I need to purchase them after paying for the game pass ultimate?

From covering cloud on another channel for the past 5 years I know a lot of people who do not buy local hardware like PC and Console for gaming. They strictly play on cloud with XCloud and GeForce NOW. It still needs work and wont be for everyone. But its yet another way for Microsoft to grow the base. Scoop up players who will never buy the local hardware but will sub up and stream the games

Unfortunately no pc version of MLB. You need console or cloud. It works surprisingly well on Xbox Cloud. Games are very hit and miss on performance but that one for two years has worked great for me here.

Why didn't they just update the old ones as well? We all know the truth on that one, Amazon wants to make more sales, I already own 6 Firesticks, I won't buy another just for this reason. Nice try Amazon.
