I luckily just got game pass ultimate and a few weeks later this pops up. Cant wait to try it, hopefully they add cod titles to ultimate aswell

Dude, Shadow PC has been around for some time. I use PCVR streamed from the cloud to my headset all the time using Virtual Desktop. I played Half-Life:Alyx and No Man’s Sky this morning.

I have 1gigabit fiber internet in UK. I tried this on Quest 3 and also on my 4k 75inch TV. On Quest 3, there is sligh latency and picture is not as crisp. But it’s very much playable I liked it a lot, then I tried on my TV and eas blown away on picture quality and latency (I swear i thought it was running natively). So it’s strange, if my Quest performed like TV, this would be revolutionary. Not sure why there is difference. I have wifi 6

Cloud gaming is a great way to attract a new type of customer. It is kind of a genius move from XBox, because people, who have no money, space or motivation enough to invest in a fully equipped gaming console, will still pay for a monthly subscription if they can play on virtually anything they already own and can run a browser: phone, tablet, crappy off-the-shelf PC, VR, you name it. That's money XBox had no access to before. If the demand is high enough, they'll probably keep improving the technology to a point where even a serious gamer can find it usable, but right now it's only a Beta that has found a niche audience who happily pay for the further development. I see nothing wrong with that.

It's just having more options. Some people travel with their Quest so it may be cool for them. Always good to have more options.

No, genius. The casual gamer pays $500 for a VR and then does not pay 4x that much again for a big screen, a gaming PC and/or a console with all the trimmings. I get it that you have already all that, but there are 8 billion other dudes who share the planet with you, and some of them bound to have different circumstances, right? What's with people having no ability to even think of scenarios not strictly related to their own life and needs?

A total disgrace, imagine forking out for an occulus qmd a game pass only to play games in PACAKE mode..its absolutely laughable playing games on a normal flat screen ,defeats the purpose of having a VIRTUAL REALITY headset , crazy

I was hoping on that. The steam app on oculus is very buggy and you literally require a pc that has a strong gpu to play anything
