This confrence or live show whatever, was just plain awful. It basically was just a 1 hour and half add with stuff we already know about and seen. They had no new exclusive games, barley any new third party, bloody hell not even New gameplay of their upcoming exclusives either. This Xbox confrence was unecessary and a waste of time. Microsoft if you dont have anything? Just dont do it! Recore and the 2 console models isint enough to have a live show for.

I really like the scores used in the Xbox One X reveal trailer 1:14:00. It gives off some great cyber punk esque vibes. When the chants come in I can imagine a Ghost in the Shell scene or something to that extent.

Kyle was off when he was talking about DBFZ. They will show more DBFZ, it wasn't because it "is scary to show characters that aren't finished yet when you are working on a fighting game," it is because Xbox missed an opportunity. Trunks had a trailer, Krillin, Picollo, Android 16/18, and SSB goku and vegeta have already been announced and shown. 3 of those characters where ready for a beta that is supposed to be happening NOW. They definitely have things to show and I'd be shocked if they didn't show it, Microsoft might've just gone with a one and done marketing deal for E3 which would be a huge mistake.

trignite I don't think an early access game should be given goty. Sure it's a big hit and it's been popular over the barren summer months but we should give it till the end of the year to see how it maintains its popularity. Dayz, h1z1, all these games were hyped and streamed constantly but look at them now.

Yea, It is all marketing related. Hopefully they will use this trailer for television to push sales of the game. I am really hoping its going to be great. Reminds me of how much I was excited for Assassins's Creed 2 due to the trailers and setting..

Yeah I remember that Assassins's Creed 2 CGI trailer well, that had such great vibes to it. I also felt like CGI trailers had more of an impact then as well than they do now, especially since it's very easy to be cynical towards them now.

Yeah. Assassin's Creed hasn't had a CG trailer that impressed me since AC3. Black Flag and Unity were great, but not up to par as the others before them, and Syndicate's wasn't great. This was to me a return to form for Assassin's Creed CG trailers.

No, Dragonball Fighterz had a LOT to show off this week. It just wasn't shown by Microsoft. Maximilian DOOD and a few other FG Community creators have a bunch of brand new content of the game on their channels.

I think its because its the Short bursts of time it takes to play the game. like 10-20mins. its the overwatch affect of pick up and play whenever. especially, since the map gets smaller so you don't have to spend time just wandering around to find someone just to die. I haven't played yet but im excited to play on xbox since it seems anyone can play.

I thought it supported 500 players at once or something the way people were going on about the game but its only 100. There isn't an Xbox Live shooting game out there that does over 100 players in a single game. No wonder Xbox got behind it. It reminds me of Microsoft getting behind World of Tanks on 360 because the game was only a 100mb download so it wasn't too taxing on their servers.

For the life of me I don't understand why I wouldn't just get a PC if I wanted to play Xbox games. It seems like PC gets everything the Xbox has, but the Xbox clearly doesn't get all of the benefits of playing on PC. I could very easily setup my PC to my main TV and get some controllers too if the couch setting is what people care about.....wonder if it will be a worthwile decision for them

Microsoft, just sell the Xbox brand to Amazon or something and just go away, you can't stay in the console business without the willing to develop exclusives

I think while some fanboys try to play up the lack of exclusive s while ignoring the " better " versions of multiplats I do think having the best versions matters much more in the beginning of a new gen than in the middle.

Guys, if you really feel like this whole presentation was unnecessary and a waste of time please just feel free and say it! It feels to me like the whole panel was really bored (especially Damiani lol) and in my opinion it was all BS except for the Jurassic World Evolution announcement.. I understand the concept of L&R, but I wish that you don't hold back your feelings and criticize and let your voice be heard because that's the only way that Microsoft/Xbox will stop this crap

Abd El Wadoud Ikhlef we haven't seen it yet. Games take a long time to make. MS learned their lesson with Tomb Raider and a few other titles like Mass Effect that they need their own first party titles. Partnering with other studios simply doesn't cut it. This is their words, by the way. So they started working on their own stuff, but that won't become apparent for a while. MS will have a huge E3 next year. I would count on it.

47:30 This whole time they act like this is some abnormal thing or somehow he gets something special from it. It was a publishing deal. They happen all the time. "Did you get perks" Of course he didn't it was a business deal. What else could he say there other than "I visited the campus"

I know with Xbox people tend to have a pre-judgement against it when PS4/Switch are sometimes given a free pass for things, that's fine, in a way I guess that makes it a sort of an underdog in a strange way? But I enjoy the system and I think there's still some good stuff ahead. I've never regretted having it as my main console. But I am still not 100% sold on the Xbox One X yet, largely due to still having a 1080p TV and I don't have any real plans to upgrade to 4K anytime soon. So for the foreseeable future I will stick to standard Xbox One, but I do think the Xbox One X looks really neat and if I had the cash to drop freely, sure i'd pick it up. The show itself could have done with less repeated trailers. While I think showing ReCore was cool as I do think it's got a bad rap, that trailer went on far too long than it needed to be and frankly it wasn't a very good trailer. It should have straight away focused on the new stuff and dropped previous owners getting a free upgrade in the trailer text. I am concerned about Crackdown 3 also, there has to be some deep-rooted issue with that game to be delayed so many times. It was a odd mix of a format, it tried to be casual, but it's also a bit too rigid and felt a little too scripted at parts for it to quite mesh with the "sit down and chat" vibe. Lack of live gameplay also a disappointment. But I certainly don't think it was as bad as people are making out. Then again people swear that the E3 conference this year for them was bad too, so I guess it's just hard to please when going in with a certain mindset. Still, Super Lucky's Tale I am so keen for~

Mark Davenport MS hasn't really pushed the benefits to 1080p sets but, you will have dramatically faster load times, increased frame rates, and superior visuals on 1080p via supersampling. I'm getting the X and may either pick up a 4k tv this holiday or possibly next. I play almost all 3rd party games on my Xbox as well and just think how many times on Xbox you get 900p or a "dynamic resolution"? Knowing all games will be 1080p is pretty cool. MS needs to show games side by side running on 1080p sets to show improved load times, visuals, etc.

That was pointless. They announced one single new game and for all their previously announce titles, they barely said anything new. A third of this stuff was just their E3 footage, and they reiterated so much that it felt like they were just burning time. It was in no way bad but they should have either gone all out and done a longer treehouse live-like stream, or have done a shorter presentation. Also it felt like there were a lot of PC-style games, which is in no way a bad thing, but its odd when they have a new console SKU coming this year that they are trying to sell, though that might just be me,

Cant wait to psx when sony put REAL exclusives on the line and they will win another year if games. (nintendo is the only great company next to sony).

uncharted lost legacy is not 4k. it hangs around 1440p according to digital foundry.

PUBG will one like shit on regular Xbox One(s). It's a mess on pc in terms of optimization. If you dont own an Xbox OneX when you get the game don't expect it to run well and maybe even than it'll be unstable. Just look at Ark and pretty much every other steam early access game that has come to XboxOne. Don't get too excited guys

Ivo Pranjic It won't run well on the Xbox One X either, buddy. My PC is way stronger than that and PUBG is still a mess sometimes. The console version of PUBG (no matter what console it's on) will run as well as Naughty Bear did on PS3.

I feel really bad for Xbox at this point. This conference was just sad and they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Stop throwing Minecraft out there like it's new, and as a point man to take off your console. Xbox has so much potential to have so many great games but they decide to hold themselves back for some reason.

As someone who mostly plays PS and Nintendo (but not afraid of playing some Halo/Forza), I didn't expect to be excited, but I hoped to be, I want Xbox to be competitive and to make Sony shake a little bit, because that would help push PS to be even better, and then everyone wins.

Thank you for not having Ian on here to ruin actual coverage. That guy should only be kept on editorial content because he can't contain nor disclose his COIs and would rather defame upcoming games because his friends said so. Extremely unethical behaviour that you all tolerate/enable.

Why so spineless guys? This conf was AWFUL - why can't you just say it?..

I know Xbox doesn't get a lot of love anymore but when you think about it they're the most consumer friendly of the three console manufacturers, they did a complete 180 from the XB1 launch in 2013, its just sad they don't have the games to back up their Console. It feels like XBOX is giving up. Nintendo has become the most anti consumer with their On Disc DLC Amiibos, crap Online service and Nickel and diming consumers and PlayStation is also a little bit anti consumer with them refusing Cross Play and EA Access, crap refund policy.

I am not sure how Easy Allies wants to take itself regarding journalism. I have noticed steady improvement in how Easy Allies covers XBOX, which is still unsatisfactory on a personal note. I understand this Gamescom showing was filled with opportunities for derision from those who dislike the XBOX brand. Those comments are expected from the Easy Allies Twitch chat members who dislike XBOX. Those remarks should not come from the on camera individuals reacting to the events as they unfold. Easy Allies make fun of all the console manufacturers, however Easy Allies consistently mock XBOX in a way that does not occur to the other console manufacturers. Kyle announcing that Twitch chat was being mean, regarding XBOX, was reporting a fact. The Easy Allies Twitch chat is a friendly place to those who proclaim XBOX is dead, that a console manufacturer who skipped Gamescom won, and plenty of other disdainful comments towards XBOX. Easy Allies is condoning these types of comments. Easy Allies should provide journalism with integrity. Easy Allies would love to interview those in the gaming industry, which would probably happen after they get into a studio. Those representing XBOX would most likely skip giving an interview to the Easy Allies. Improved journalism toward XBOX would prevent XBOX fans leaving Easy Allies due to coverage that comes with snide comments towards XBOX. Easy Allies is known as a trusted source of gaming news. Though I trust what Easy Allies has to say about other console manufactures, I cannot trust Easy Allies XBOX coverage. Easy Allies have shown to not keep up with XBOX news, which there is not a whole lot of at the moment. During my time in Easy Allies Twitch chat, I have seen less and less individuals who say positive things about XBOX. I no longer see most of those individuals in the Easy Allies Twitch chat. I would prefer Easy Allies to be all inclusive. That is the best way to grow the community. There would be far more types of conversations. Instead, Easy Allies is relegating themselves to a community that is not representative of the larger gaming community. In the end, a bigger community means Easy Allies earn more money to support themselves. As an XBOX fan I did not see love, or respect, in these reactions. Microsoft should have put out this information as a press release instead of showing up to Gamescom. I believe Microsoft wanted to reach a larger audience though this showing, instead of having a smaller audience by putting this information on their own channels. Microsoft is attempting to reach a larger audience, and so should the Easy Allies by using journalistic integrity.

It's won many Australian hearts, I know quite a few people here with both PS4 & Xbox One.

This was the worst video I've ever seen from the Easy Allies. It was cynical and overly condescending at many parts. Damiani seemed like he didn't even want to be there. I love your coverage and the positivity you guys normally display, but this was frustrating and kind of annoying to watch. I've watched countless EZA vids and this is the first one that has ever left me displeased afterwards. Maybe in the future you can make sure that those on screen want to be there. I'm not asking for fake enthusiasm, but this video didn't carry even half of the energy that the other reactions do. It seemed that a minute didn't go by with some jab about something mentioned. I understand jokes and perspective but jeez....it was every 20 seconds or so. Once again I'm not saying you guys should have been excited or overjoyed but it didn't need to be pessimistic and constantly agitated.

Jerrad are you serious? The reason their reactions was like that is because everyone is thinking the same thing.. Microsoft is having a horrible year. They are releasing the Xbox one X and instead of showcasing games that would actually sell the console they are relying on multiplatform games and little indie games. Don't get me wrong indie games are good but aside from halo forza and gears (10 year old games) what have they announced that make people say "damn I need to buy an Xbox one x for this" .. easy allies are doing a good job in my opinion of being polite and as respectful as they can because in all honesty as an Xbox customer there really isn't much to look forward to at the moment. What's the point of having the most powerful console if there's no huge exclusives? Look at the competition from the other consoles and the games the games they have coming. Any Xbox gamer should be angry and wanting more from Microsoft. Sea of thieves, crackdown, state of decay, these are the games going up against uncharted, lady of us 2 Spider-Man and days gone, etc I mean the list goes on for the other side .. I own both consoles but I've owned an Xbox first but as of the last few years ps has had all the huge blockbuster games while Microsoft is out here promoting backwards compatibility to play 10-15 year old games on what's going to be the most powerful console.. smh they didn't even show the differences between Xbox one x and the one s visually and what we can expect by showing us video proof of the visual upgrades.. Microsoft really needs to drastically step their game up because at the end of the day we are all gamers and while talking about "power" is nice WE WANT GAMES!
