You need to open your console up and take a sharp picture of your DVD drive label. Getting the information that way is the easiest way in my opinion. There are many videos in KZread about opening Xbox 360 (all 3 models). Then just order a correct laser unit to your disk player using the information on that picture and when it arrives, change the old one to new one. There are many videos about that thing too. I'm currently waiting my laser unit to arrive next week. Just one thing to remember is to desolder that solder blob out from there. It's there because of safety reasons. You just need to borrow or buy a solder. Solders are about 10€/$. It doesn't require skills since you just have to heat the blob and get it to drop basically to somewere like trashbin. There are videos about that too in KZread. Hope that helped.

I was skeptical of this. I didn’t believe it at all. I reset it, I opened and closed it so many times. Eventually I came back to this video, I put it on its side and slapped it a little bit (not that hard actually). It worked. Now I’m back to playing my nostalgic games, due exclusively to percussive maintenance.

I have this just got an xbox 360 what I do that works is just keep ejecting and putting it back in till it works
