The hit rate 4 a wr running in the 4.2 probably isn't lower than that of wrs running in 4.4s it's just that there are way less of these guys

Literally, fast is fast but we got like a 5 player sample of 4.2s guys who all were track athletes not football players

First super fast 40 time guy that actually produced well in college. I’m thinking he’s not going to be a bust really hope he gets a good landing spot

Agreed definitely a tough eval but like his ability more than most other fast guys

Love all the people dismissing him because of his speed claiming “sub 4.3 WRs always bust” as if they grow on trees and there’s some robust sample size to draw that conclusion. He was a much better more productive prospect than most of the guys who have ran that speed and busted. He’s as “safe” as any of the other WR4-8 projections in this draft

Nothing I’ve seen as a longhorns fan would indicate that he can throw a deep ball to me, maybes he’s been hurt but from everything I heard he was healthy in 2023

i huge on worthy but my fear is andy reid not giving him enough snaps early in his rookie year, rashee rice should’ve been well over 1000 if he had more snaps and i hate that he just doesn’t use rookies early like mahomes sat out his rookie year but when he does play he is gonna shine

Z receivers are lined up off the line of scrimmage so they aren't able to be pressed in most formations, Worthy is your motion man, speed demon that you can move around, if you're scouting him to be an X WR he's not going to look as good but if you're scouting him to be a Z he looks like an elite prospect

It's never really the speed of the WR that's the problem, it's if the QB can spin the ball to him fast enough. They always blame speed guys for being body catchers but they have to slow down or come back to the ball. Timing issue or QB arm issue, either way if a QB could lead a speed wr instead throwing behind them most of the time you'd be surprised how many have hands as well.as.speed

qb play and the way they used worthy has alot to say, watch his film of his freshmen year compared to his junior year and see how differently they used him or see how many over/ under throws the texas qbs missed worthy, it’s wild
