What makes him so good was his ball manipulation. He never tried to juke defenders he just kept the ball away from them and protected it. What a master class of a player

Awareness, anticipation...evasion. The fancy touches in the clip were not actually the main way he controlled the ball...but fun to watch. He and Iniesta both, and together, ungodly.

@@robertopeceroneumanneco-ra5340, no coincido con ello, Iniesta era bueno, pero como mediocampista, estaba por debajo de Xavi, y el Barcelona baja su rendimiento desde el retiro de Xavi en el 2015, coincidentemente, Messi a partir de ese año comienza a ganar premios a mejor creador de juego del mundo, un premio que lo ganan los constructores de juego (mediocampistas), y no es como que hicieron grande a Messi, Messi dio su mejor temporada individual en el 2019 sin Xavi e Iniesta, pero obviamente que si fueron determinantes en el mediocampo, con el retiro, sobre todo de Xavi, Messi cambia su estilo de juego, ya deja de ser goleador a ser un jugador más completo, debido a que retrasa su juego al mediocampo para crear juego por sí mismo, esto obviamente a causa de la ausencia de un amo del mediocampo como Xavi.

Xavi was magnificent!!! He sould have been awarded at least one Ballon d'Or. He was voted second or third several times and I think it didn't make much sense he didn't get it in 2010,,. Hei was awarded with The World's Best Playmaker by IFFHS, 4 or 5 times and scored 85 goals for the Club, not bad considering that he played half his career as a defensive pivot,

If you thought you were about to nick the ball off of him, it's because he deliberately showed you the ball to take advantage of you reaching. The best CM to ever play the game, in my opinion.
when I asked to get 1 t-shirt from Barca's team in 2014, it took me 3 seconds to make my decision, it was the original Xavi's t-shirt, not Messi not any other player, but Xavi ( true story ). He was just what Barca needed RN, much respect for de jong but still, Xavi is just out of control.

@@MusTafa-897I haven’t seen anything what could make him a world class coach. Even if he was put in bad situations, there are always signs you can spot a great potential coach. I haven’t seen it from Xavi. Also made the mistake that he thought he could manage a topclub right away, instead of going to a smaller club first. Like Xavi Alonso.
Spain started winning titles when he started to his peak and Spain stopped winning titles when he started to decline
