By the way, although the option of an internal talkback mic is described & shown in both the Midas M32 and M32R manuals, it does not seem to exist anymore if it ever actually did; not shown on-screen page in firmware 3.08 or 3.09 anyway. The option does show in the Mac M32 Edit software app, but I am fairly certain there is no internal talkback mic in those Midas models; i have both.

Yes, many ways. Look under the talkback settings and route your TB to a bus. You can then solo that bus. That is the easiest way.

What talkback microphone do you use?

i am setting up my church live streaming using matrix on my x32. However, when i am using my talk back mic to talk to my musicians IEM, it also go through the matrix and my audience on the live stream can actually hear it too. Any idea what have i missed? Thanks

What if I want to use multiple talkbacks on one bus. How would I set it up

You can use any mic input has a talkback mic. Just route the specific talkback mics to that bus. hope this helps

can i use a talkback let's say talkback a for the FOH engineer and then talkback b for a music director

Yes the message he described is exactly how you would do that. you can also dedicated any internal mic input as a talkback mic as well. Just route it to the channels (Monitors or Bus Tracks) that you would like to hear them on.

Can I use one of the XLR inputs on the back set as the talkback mic?

You could, but then you would lose 8 of your inputs on your stagebox. Best would be to use the dedicated "Talkback" xlr input on the back of your console.

Why 8?

When I try the talkback it comes out the main speakers. Only thing selected on talkback A or B is mix bus 2; an iem setup. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It may be something with the effects sends/FX bus and the bus send settings it has on it

hi my fren , iam khadka iam new guy to using behringer x32 , and i installes x32 edit for internet connection , but the app is showing different than what you are using , i mean i cant see exactily like mixer board. which app i need to install please help me to know please!!!
